Amy: The clear area is made of a soft plastic that scratches easily. Design was good to keep the chewable parts away from the bird. My bird loved it but it leaked where the main elbow met the clear cylinder.

jt eichner: I love this item and it works great but needs a dish below as my six budgies are messy and drip a lot of water. The dish below catches the drippings and that seems to solve the problem. It doesn't drip by itself. Just when they attach it for water. They took about 4 hours to become accustom to it. One Budgie might take longer. But several will follow a leader and do as they do. It lasts for 4 days with a few drops of vinegar. I clean it every 4 days and that seems to be about fine for my flock with 16 oz.

MHMH: Came with no nuts .. so basically cannot do anything with it!!!!
Well ... regardless. It is broken anyway!!!!! And straight out of the box leaking.
It came without a box though! Or directions, or screws or nuts!

Item arrived and when I put it to use I immediately noticed leakage. I tried to use a sealant that I had on hand and nothing worked. Not worth the money. Best to get one from your local pet store.

EDIT TO ADD : Seller reached out and was courteous enough to refund me. Seller advised they would send me another water dispenser but I denied as I already purchased one from my local pet store.
I’m appreciate the customer service and transparency. Thank you!

Kathleen: This product appears sturdy and is large. I used it for my African Grey Parrot. He was able to destroy the rubber seal at the spout end in one day so I had a lot of water on my hardwood floors If I could find another rubber seal I could try it with my other bird who is not so destructive in the meantime it sits unusable on my counter

G. P.: Installed this in a pigeon cage... he can't figure it out. Tried it with a cockatiel and same thing. Nice sturdy waterer and holds lots of water but can't have the birds dying of thirst. Had to go back to something they can work with.

ChanetteChanette: The media could not be loaded.  I ordered 3 small, 1 for my cockatiel, 1 for my green cheek conquer, and 1 for my 2 buddies. 1 out of 3, was leaking when I 1st set it up, by I press hard on the pin and push it in, and it stopped leaking, I luv it alot, I put it in their cage, and just waiting to see if their going to drink for it...update it's day 2 and they haven't touched it yet, but I know they will soon, it just take some patience...its a great item, well make and sturdy...

Updated 10/15/2021, my green cheek conure and budgies started drinking from it 2 weeks after I placed it in their cage, it's now the only water I keep in thier cage. I showed my conure how to use it 1 time and he got it, because he's very nosey and curious lol. I had to show my 2 budgies 4 times before they started using it...I'm now buying another on for my new caique...my amazon has 1 on his...
