SarahSarah: I'm absolutely thrilled by this bird feeder. I bought one for myself and then a year later I bought another for my mom as a gift. Every species of bird in the yard uses it. I was shocked to see that even the gold finches used it seemed to order it over the tower feeder. It holds black sunflower seeds well but nyjer does leak through a bit. The bottom has little holes so water doesn't stay in and ruin the seeds. It's so easy to fill and clean. I also love that it can accommodate larger birds too like Grosbeak and Bluejays which I toss peanuts in for. It's a wonderful feeder and I'm so happy with the purchase.

Bill Stroud: Sort of hard to find. Good wood. Takes a clear finish well. Hard to make it yourself. Birds love it - a sizes. Nice for garden or yard.

Kim Leinbach: This is a simple, no nonsense bird feeder that is somewhat low tech, but works well. I’ve tried other conventional bird feeders with the housing and ports for accessing the birdseed, but I found that this open type of bird feeder is much more well received and functional. It is well built and durable for outdoor use.
I highly recommend Natures Way platform cedar bird feeder.
