It is so easy to pop apart and clean - not sure what I am going to do with the collection of brushes I needed for other models. I am replacing all my feeders with this style.

Mark B. Ostrom: Works well, it allows the birds to perch on the rim and guard their booty... feeds more than one bird at a time, well made, easy to open for filling, you can even do it while it's hanging. Love it! So do my Birds!

Randal James: I've been feeding hummers for decades. Eventually one learns all of the pitfalls and mistakes. Yellow flowers attract wasps, big feeders - unless you have herds of hummers - will let the mix go sour too soon and others are just too hard to clean. Ant moats are good.

These check off all of my boxes. I actually ordered another brand that came in a two-pack because it was cheaper. Hard to know what the subtle differences were but they faded fast in coloration and, frankly, the hummers avoided them if there was a choice.

I suppose this is like a consumer product you like, such as ketchup or mayo and the others just aren't the same. My consumers, and their little wings and beaks, really like these.

pars4me: Yellow jackets swarmed when I set the feeder up, but they cannot get to the syrup. Hummingbirds came right away and have no problem feeding.
I have 2 bottle type feeders that the hummers enjoyed all summer. Now that it is August, the yellow jackets were all over them. When I clean & change the syrup, I find 6 dead yellow jackets in each. I've just had this up a few hours and have found the bees are avoiding it and going for the bottle feeder...hummers are happily using this. So for now I think it's great.

Seb: I don't get a lot of Hummingbirds in my area, but there are a few that make frequent stops during the day. I've tried a few feeder designs and I find that these feeders really work for me. Here is my assessment:

They hold up to 12 ounces, but I don't have to completely fill it that much to be able to feed them. This helps with not wasting the homemade sugar water (boil 4 cups of water, add 1 cup of sugar, cool then add to feeders - the left over goes in the refrigerator for a few days and is ready when I need to wash/change the feeders. Don't buy premade/store bought food- the artificial colors and preservatives are not good for them).

I like the overall design. It's red on top to attract the Hummers and clear on the bottom so that I can see how much food is still in there. The flat top allows me to see when a Hummer lands to feed at any port. I have not experienced any problems with leaking or it coming apart. It is very easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is the lack of an angle of the ports on top. The open holes are just on top which allows a little rain and pollen to get in. This isn't a deal breaker because I always take the feeders down and wash them...
