Texas Rose: I LOVE this stainless steel skillet! I was tired of having to replace the non-stick ones which morph into "super-stick" skillets as they lose their coating. I didn't know how easy cleaning stainless steel is until I started using my Instant Pot which I also purchased on Amazon.

Did some quick research on how to use stainless, but basically don't add ANY food until it's pre-heated and then lightly oiled. Doesn't stick much if you preheat to the correct temp. Whatever does stick soaks off with a little water, which I add as soon as I finish cooking. Now I use this skillet almost daily.

Great for big omelettes, frittatas, quesadillas, multiple fish fillets. It also finishes sous vide steaks and chops beautifully, searing in just a minute a side.

This pan is wider than most of the electric skillets I've used before, and it's also shallower.

The upside is an omelette will spread out and cook faster or more pancakes or sausages can be cooked at the same time.

The downside is it took awhile to get used to the shallower pan and stop stirring food over the edge when I had a lot of contents - i.e. stir fried rice and veggies.

Norma Dizon: Would have love it more if it was smaller in diameter but higher in depth for table serving. But overall, good for my need. Use it for table serving so food remain hot.

James Kaplan: Works pretty well. Not much different than the 10 year old Rival it replaced (which was rusting!). No issues like others with plug falling out. Handle on lid gets HOT. I saved the one from the RIval which is an exact fit and does not get hot. Cooking surface is badly stained after a few uses.

Linda Berger: Purchased and used twice. Noticed that it would not keep the temp that it was set to. Out by at least 20 degrees. Can't get warranty as AMAZON sells it from the US and they will not honer the warranty in Canada.

Tom Whiteman: we've been using our skillet pretty regularly for about a month now and NO PROBLEMS tempeture holds true to the control setting ,,,, stainless cleans up easily (You have to know how to clean stainless Properly) size wise theres only 2 of us and from what I can see its pretty well made..... were very happy hope it lasts as long as our last one about 30 yrs... in my opinion most bad reviews come from those who have no experience operating or know how to properly care for this type of cookware..... learn to properly use and care for the items you purchase..... GREAT PRODUCT

L. Cox: i searched the internet for months for a stainless steel electric skillet to replace my 30-year-old Farberware electric pan. (I replaced one foot and the control/cord over the years. I still mourn its passing.)

I'd tried the non-stick coated pans and hated the coating -- food stuck anyway and the coating came off. Hubby came home proudly presenting the (cheap) TV-advertised copper non-stick pan. I DID like the square pan, but otherwise, WHAT a joke! It cooked food in the middle (within a 6-inch circle). Ever eat a half-cooked pancake? Half was cooked, the other half near the edge was not.

Then I found Aroma Houseware's shiny stainless electric skillets. They're beautiful, they clean easily and they cook perfectly from edge to edge. They clear lid is wonderful so I can see how the food is progressing. The temperature gage is accurate!

There are some drawbacks, but I'll suffer through now that I have a great stainless pan again. The beautiful skillet is very heavy, and its stainless handles on the sides and lid are NOT insulated. It's "built very low to the table/counter but it's attractive and can go from kitchen to table/buffet. The pan is a little shallow but...
