DrowNoble: It has all the filtering one could want: odor, particulates and UV light. The color ring will change based on air quality, giving you an indicator of how good the air you're breathing is. This can be easily turned off at night, so only a small blue dot is lit. Sleep mode makes it whisper quiet if you're the kind of person that needs no noise to sleep.
Comes with one filter too, with recommendation to change every 3 to 6 months depending on how much "filtering" it has to do.
After running for only a few hours I could already tell the air seemed "crisper" with the filtering.
Got it for a Black Friday deal, but I feel it would of been worth the full price.

Dave: We have a large master bedroom with adjacent rooms and wanted a decent air purifier for this area. It must be powerful enough for large area and have Hepa type filter. After finding this one here on Amazon.com and was impressed with reviews so we bought it. It really works great we've had it almost a month. Easy easy filter installation or replacement. Buy real name brand filters they are better and different than knock off ones. Replacement filters seem affordable.
So, it's on auto and the light is green and it's so low and quiet. We light cigarettes. Less than a minute the light turns yellow then red and the fan speeds up not loud almost pleasant and smooth. In sleep mode we can't hear it wondered if it was even on. Yup, really low. It kicks out air at the top in a fan shape flow providing good circulation. Has the uv light feature.
Overall it does a fine job and we are very happy with our purchase. Even gets 5 stars.

Tam: OK, so I was skeptical about getting an air purifier. Have not made my mind up, yet. My house is clean but all homes have dust. Plus, I own 3 dogs. I also live in AZ about 3 miles form a cow farm. You know where I'm going with this. Cow farts! When my AC kicks on, you guessed it, cow farts are blown through the AC and into my home. I wanted to get an air purifier to combat this issue specifically. This is a beautiful machine. It is small and sleek. It has multiple functions that are easy to use. The filter is easy to change out. It has a light indicator on the "clean" status of your area. Mine has never been anything but blue. Blue is clean. I would have at least thought it would start out yellow or orange due to the dogs and dust. I am still evaluating it for the air purifying factor. I love the sound of this machine. I grew up listening to a box fan and falling asleep. Loved it. This offers that white noise while on high, med and low. When in sleep mode the sound is just loud (soft) enough for me to block out all other noises and fall asleep. It helps the dogs sleep too. The sleep mode also turns out all of the lights.
