Urbexxjeremy: They’re a great purchase! The only complaint I have is that when you program it to turn on and off it goes from 0 light to 100% intensity and you cannot change that light intensity and those white leds are extremely bright. Almost to bright. There needs to be a way to control the intensity levels during the programming but there isn’t. So I have to turn the white leds off and back on which allows me to dine the lighting down…. Not a big deal just annoying and should have been included in the engineering of the electronics. Thankfully I’m capable of fixing this myself, but most people aren’t electronics engineers. I do recommend these lights though!

lilocor: I really wanted to like these lights. I have a 55 gallon aquarium and needed to replace the lights. I first ordered two of the 24" lights with remote. I chose to have two lights, so I could have two different colors on or have one side dark if needed. I wasn't interested in the timer option - I wanted to control he settings manually each day. The lights and colors were nice, not too bright and easy to change with the remote. Starting the first day, the lights would quickly flash at 12:00 noon and 12:00am. This would occur every day, even when the light was powered off. I tried unplugging the unit and replacing the remote batteries and they continued to flash at those two times. I thought that maybe the two remote signals were interfering with each other....so, I returned them and ordered the switch version. This one is controlled by an on and off switch and only has the option for white or blue lights. It worked well, however the white lights were SO BRIGHT! My fish hid all day until the blue light was turned on, and my tank is normally very active. There was no way to adjust the brightness on this model. Craig Lorentzen: This light is very low profile. The built in timer is great so you can schedule when and what lights come on and off. The color options are also cool. Each one makes the fish look different. The sunrise and sunset option is a cool feature too. It will gradually bring the lights up in the morning and down in the evening. The dimming option on the lights is also nice to have. So far, I have no complaints.

JenniJenni: The media could not be loaded.  I set it up as soon as it arrived today, and set up was a breeze.

○For the item itself, it seems very sturdy and well made. I was nervous it'd be flimsy and cheap considering the price compared of other, similar lights and was pleasantly suprised. The legs slid in like a breeze, and it sits firmly on the tanks. The top is a nice metal and the lights are very high quality.

○The brightness is INTENSE. The color on my cichlids popped under the multi-color lights. I didn't know how I'd feel about the blue setting, but it definitely is great when it's after dark. Enough brightness for the fish without being overly bright.

○Over all it's fantastic for the price and will update as time passes on the longevity of the light.
