Itzel: The light is great, it’s bright, & my plants are doing nicely. I have it over my 20g aquarium & it has held up pretty well. I would order it again. If you’re in need of a light with a timer it does not have one.

Keisha Gamman: This is a great, basic, BRIGHT aquarium light. I have actually purchased two of these because the first took HEAVY corrosion after 3+ years of being used on an odd shaped aquarium that does not have a lid. I've seen some reviews where customers are complaining that the light doesn't last long, but a) this light is less than $20, which if you buy a traditional aquarium hood with florescent light, you're looking at a price of at least $60 or more, and b) yes mine did eventually stopped working, but this was only after it was so corroded out that it looked like it had barnacles ! Plus, the full spectrum LED lights are way, way better than florescent lighting -- really makes your aquarium colors POP !

Kenda O.: Very bright, nice light for the price. I’m surprised to be honest. I have a dark water tank and so far it’s been keeping my plants alive despite the dark water. However, it does not have a timer.

Harrison Freese: I have been in the aquarium hobby for a while now and a few months ago I set up a new 10 Gallon freshwater tank with living plants. I wanted to purchase a light that would grow plants without breaking the bank, as this can be an expensive hobby. This light proved to do just that! It isn't the coolest looking light in the world but its definitely not bad looking and its very slim profile helps that out a lot.
Pros:
-Affordable
-slim profile
-powerful enough light to grow medium light requiring plants
Cons:
-Somewhat flimsy feeling but not a huge deal as it is an aquarium light
-on/off switch is a little clumsy looking
Overall this is an excellent light for the price and I would/have recommended this to many friends and family members in the hobby. If you are looking for a budget light, this is the one for you.
