Steven Goldsborough: Bought this to expand the available ports, while still being able to charge an Ayn Loki Mini Pro. This works great for that purpose. It does get a little warm while the Loki is charging, and I do mean warm, in no way does it get hot to the touch. I have yet to try the HDMI port, but everything else seems to work fine so far. Would recommend.

randow76randow76: I have multiple screens i use for podcasting and this hub works great. Using the USB-c saves USB ports i need. Easy to use. Oh ans I was able to see some old pics off and SD card I found.

DanielleDanielle: I have had this product for over 8 months now and it is very necessary if you have the newer MacBooks with no additional ports.
The converter works really well for displaying your screen to external monitors but the only thing is that if you are trying to connect your audio via the converter it will crash your computer.
(crashed on a 2021 MacBook Air and 2021 MacBook Pro).
On my iPad Pro 2021 I tried to use the portal and it worked once but after that the iPad could tell that there was a HDMI connection but it would not cast my screen....
But other than that the USB C Hub, USB, and HDMI ports work really well on laptops when you only want to cast the screen.

ZPFunk: Purchased this to use Samsung Dex. This USB hub was working pretty well at first although the connections are in a rather messy orientation when running HDMI. Video would cut out on ocassion, I also have experienced some disconnection issues with the HDMI connection as well. These problems may not be attributed completely to the device, so I will not fault it for that. However, I would not recommend moving it once it is plugged in. The odd placement of the connections tends to make for a messy layout of wires. All that said, it was very much a usable solution until the SD/TF card reader stopped working after only 2 months. Other than that I could have lived with the other minor issues. As a result, this product has lost a large part of its value to me because I purchased this specifically for the HDMI and SD card functionality.
Edit: I have added back 1 star because the SD/TF card reader seems to be working again. HDMI also seems to be working as well. I cleaned out the USB C port on my Galaxy S20 with a dental tool to remove a ton of lint and give this thing a fighting chance.
