After feeling uncomfortable about, leaving us the door open in the screen door closed while traveling in my RV. I found some information on the RV site that said use these locks for extra protection on your screen door. I put it up high enough, so no kids could get out and though it won’t stop somebody from breaking in. It will buy you some time very sturdy works perfect for this

I have very old sash windows and these locks work on them very well. However, they have a really sharp corner on the part that you have to push to lock it, or pull to unlock it. I find that makes it much more difficult for my [elderly] thumb and fingers to manipulate. I can do it, but...ouch!
