E G: Arrived promptly and exactly as pictured and described. Delighted to have found and L hasp in black - not easy to find. The finish looks good, too. I only wish the hasp metal itself was a little thicker. I am wondering about its sturdiness with the lock. Time will tell on its durability, so can't comment on that feature yet. Overall very happy with purchase.

Splarch: These are a deterrent. I assume I could rip the shed doors open right through these if I were really committed. Hopefully between the shed door handle lock and this, people will find something easier to break into. If I had it to do again, I'd probably find something sturdier. Ideally I'd like bolts that go through the door and fasten on the other side, with a metal plate on the inside. That will stop somebody. But I don't expect to face many truly committed thieves looking to steal my rake so... I guess it depends what you're doing.
