CJHansCJHans: I bought these to use for security in my garage window. They're fairly robust, and easy to adjust/install. Probably not going to stop a determined thief (nothing will), but they aren't getting through them without making a lot of noise and spending a lot of time. Likely they'll choose to move along to the next house. As others have said, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THE SUPPLIED SCREWS. For some reason, they supplied "security screws", which are made to screw in but not out, and due to the design of these window bars, probably couldn't ever be removed at all without destroying the window frame. THROW THEM AWAY.

Rebecca Burke: These are perfect for keeping our grandkids safe while having our windows open. I took one star away because the heads of the screws are so ridiculous that the drill kept slipping off. I used my own Philips head screws and then No problem.

Opal: Amazing! I’m using these as security bars (despite that not being recommended by the company) and they’re extremely strong, solid and sturdy. Used my own screws though. Really easy and quick to install. They look really good too! Good price for the peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Michael BensonMichael Benson: Adds a level of security to a basement bedroom window. This room is used as a spare storage room so there is no need to use it as an escape route so it's perfect. Installed on the inside of the window with my own screws. Very sturdy and adds a level of security and is for sure a deturrant for theives. Pairs well with my security cameras.

Raven Thomson: Great product, easy to install with several ways to install in window but the screws are awful!!! They are impossibly hard to get a screw bit into and makes the process take way longer than it should. With your own screws takes 5 minutes to put up with a drill , with the ones provided I'm guessing twenty with a few choice words lol
