Jerry H: The first pilot hole I drilled was a bit undersized and when I got aggressive seating a screw, I ruined the head of the screw trying to force the last 2 or 3 turns. After using a plier to remove the damaged screw and redrilling a proper sized pilot hole -- the rest is a slam-dunk and I had 2 grab bars installed in short order! Great product - very strong, looks great and met all of my requirements. I would not hesitate to use this grab bar product again should the need arise.

Bob: For those of you who reviewed these and said they came off the wall, you installed them wrong!
They MUST be installed into wall studs. I’m convinced I could stand on these and they will not come out of the wall. They give you three hefty screws for each side. I put additional ones in each, but I probably didn’t have to. You will need a power screwdriver or else you’ll blister your hands and maybe still not get them in all the way. Well made product!
