C Hen.: I picked this up to replace a defective clock that I had and decided I could replace my temp monitoring as well and do a single unit setup.
I had left the prior temp system in place and it seems that it ran on the same signal as this unit as it was causing the time sync to not work as expected as well as temp being lost from time to time. Once I disconnected the old temp system it has worked without a problem at all.
One problem I ran into was self inflicted as I had it in a location that received weather (sitting on a brick wall that had rain on it. The unit in the rain would randomly disconnect whereas the unit without the weather maintained connection without a problem. Once I removed it from the brick and hung it away from rain it has been running strong without any disconnection issues.
System just works. Displays the stats that it mentions and you can adjust the various settings. I mostly left it in default. One thing I did learn is that I turned off the alert for temperature warning. It would constantly go off when it was cold rather than a simple alert once below the threshold until it reaches it again.
Works solid and highly recommend to anyone...

Mario B.: Bought in March 2021. The weather station freeze after a month and I had to do a hard reset.
November 2021 is dead. Two set of batteries were used in that period.

Next Math Teacher: WS-2801A
I bought this weather station to replace my old WS-1171, which I bought nine years ago. I like the old WS-1171, which still works, but it's remote sensor died and Ambient Weather no longer has replacement sensors for it. The new WS-2801A seemed to have the same features plus a few upgrades: three remote channels, color display, and power adapter. I bought the package with three remote sensors, planning to keep one or two as spares.
The color LED display is easier to read, and is dimmable. Temperature, humidity, and air pressure sensors are all quite accurate - I've checked them against standards. And they are adjustable in case readings ever drift. My only disappointment is the forecast feature. It changes the forecast icon when the pressure changes: sun, partly cloudy, cloudy, rain, and stormy. And there is a little indicator called the "Rate of Change of Pressure Graph" which "signifies the difference between the daily average pressure and the 30 day average, in hPa" (1 hPa = 1 mbar). So far I have not found this to be useful - it is not a rate of change, and the "graph" is just a single point showing the days average pressure compared to the monthly average....

bacalhau75bacalhau75: I just received this last week. I based my purchase off reviews since I don't know the brand and so far I'm happy about it. Some other models had terrible reviews so hopefully this one will last and provide accurate readings for years to come.
3 zones is perfect for me (it's actually 4)... I'm in NJ. I have a remote outside, 1 in the attic and 1 in the basement. The basement tends to get humid in the summer and I have a dehumidifier set to 55% humidity on the other end of the basement and want to know the temp /humidity on the other side to see if I need another dehumidifier. In the attic I noticed on the summer it's 20 degrees more than outside and our summers lately have been 95-100 for about a month. I have to install an attic fan and then I'll be able to see if the fan really moves that much air.
The display is pretty, informative and I'm yet to understand how to use the pressure reading.
The light/snooze button offers 3 shades of brightness when plugged in. With batteries I believe it uses the lighter 2 shades only and defaults to dark after a few seconds.
I placed rechargeable batteries but the manual states not to use them since they are only 1.2v but...
