I don't have any way of telling how accurate it is, but I simply adjusted it to the same temp as the built-in pool thermometer (via the display console), and I'm quite happy with that. The adjustment I made applies to the central display and the web page display and not the read-out on the device itself, but I rarely look at the device itself. I used a different thermometer in an attempt to measure this one, and it was the same so I have to assume they are all pretty close to being accurate. I attached the waterproof probe to the side of the pool with waterproof tape and it all works quite well. Recommended.

Ryan Brooks: I own an Ambient WS5000 and needed to add this sensor so I could monitor my greenhouse. I was surprised how easy it was to name and add the device to my existing setup. I believe Ambient could price their equipment a little lower but I have been pleased with the longevity of this station and all add-ons

Pat B: Easy to setup and sync to my WS5000 receiver, instructions are concise and easy to follow. Use to measure pool water temp. Set dip switch to required units and channel number, insert batteries and the receiver immediately registered it's readout.

L. Pellegrini: I've added four of these sensors to my Ambient Weather WS-2000 setup.
Extremely easy to add additional sensor to WS-2000; just add batteries to sensor and follow "Add Sensor" menu on the WS-2000 monitor. Takes about 3 minutes.
I've had a couple sensors in operation for over two years and the battery life is still good (>50%).
Accuracy seems acceptable. Comparing temperature of these sensors with an old, reliable, and large mercury thermometer, the sensor is within 1 degree. Putting 2 sensors next to each other and the recorded temperatures read within 0.5 degrees of each other.
Price is high but I've seen it a million times ... you get what you pay for.

Joe Rowdy: Two bad ones out of three. Ether they don't transmit well or the readings change little.

OzMan: I had one of these that I used outside and eventually had the display fail due to water ingress - but it keeps on sending the information to the dashboard and desktop display so that is fine. I now bought several more to track pond temperatures in several ponds an will keep them in a small bag for added weather protection. For the price and convenience of having remote sensing at desired depth (or enclosures) these are great little units and I would recommend them.

toejam: I'm about 5 minutes into my install, so, not much time has passed. Received the T&H sensor, installed batteries and was checking out the dip switch settings and noticed that my WS-2000 already found and registered the sensor. Great, I'm up and running without having to make any changes after installing the batts. Of course, the unit is my first added t&h sensor, so, did not have to change any dip switch settings. If it were sensor # 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 I would have had to make some dip switch changes.
Additionally, I am using the sensor in my well house to make sure the temperature does not dip to freezing. I changed the name of the sensor on my dashboard to "Well House", then set notifications if the temp dips < 35 deg f, or humidity goes above 85%. I'm all setup to let the sensor keep my posted on the status of my well house.
