Jane Doe: I actually enjoyed the message in this book. The narration wasn't the best, but the message being sold makes a lot of sense. The key points the book tries to get across is to 1. Be mindful of portions. Stop eating when you're satisfied and not stuffed. 2. Stop eating junk food. This isn't just about sweets or snacks, it's about a lot of the unhealthy foods we eat that are saturated with fats and sodium- this includes the recipes we use to cook. Basically, you need to minimally season your food, eat as many vegetables as possible, reduce meat intake, and don't cut corners during food planning, prep, and cooking. 3. Don't drink your calories. Cut out soda and other drinks high in sugar and caffeine.

There are some tips shared on getting you past the bad habits that lead to making poor dietary choices. Most of it's common sense, but information we could all benefit being reminded of. I would say this book helped me come to terms with my addiction to sugar which is where my problem lays with weight gain. Your issue may be totally different. I practiced the advice of changing my reasons for why I eat what I eat and noticed a difference in my eating habits within days. There was...

Madhu: The book is okay! It's not like other books of allen Carr and it won't work like the other books.
This book focuses on psychological elements of eating, but does not go deep into it, it keeps repeating about nature's food which everyone is aware of and it keeps repeating on quitting junk food (which again everyone is aware of)

The book is very ineffective, even a beginner has nothing to take away.

Stephanie Schroth: I enjoyed this book, I didn't realize how brainwashed and conditioned I was. I thought I was making the decisions on what I ate, I mean....I was, but someone else was driving subconsciously. If you need a wake up call, give this book a read. It doesn't try to sell you anything. I was skeptical thinking that one of the following chapters is going to tell me I have to buy "Easyway" foods. It doesn't! I'll update post if I lose the weight. Still an informative read even if I don't lose the weight.

Strandkorb37: I ordered this book after a friend told me about her success quitting smoking when reading his book about that addiction. There is a lot of great information in this book concerning our eating habits and how to easily change those to better options, but I struggle with the suggestion to not eat until you feel 'real' hunger-he explains what real hunger is- when this means you're basically going into starvation mode regularly, which only slows your metabolism down. Isn't that the opposite of what you want - unless of course when you do actually eat you only eat what he suggests- fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. All in all it makes sense and has great, logical suggestions to stop eating (and moreso craving!) junk food.

Linda: I'm most of the way through this book and I have mixed feelings.
Initially I was excited as so much made sense and literally all the questions I had about why I overeat were answered within the first half of the book. It all made so much sense and light bulbs were going off seemingly every turn of the page.
The analogies used helped make things clear in an understandable way, I could even get on board with the vegan is best motto that is not so discreetly woven in to every chapter because everything else just makes so much sense.

But the niggle is the one rather large, big, fat lie that is sold to us in the same brainwashing way that they claim junk food is sold to us. This method encourages "mother natures" diet as our body was naturally developed for and according to Easyway this is fruit and veg only. It clearly claims we are herbivores and meat 🍖 was not / is not necessary nor natural for us.
SHOCK FACT: Humans are omnivores, our closest living relative (chimps) are omnivores. The human body needs B12 to survive - a vitamin only found in animal meat or certain bacteria and is why vegans/veggies have to supplement it, why did Mother Nature make that a...
