I used this product to cool my room during the summer. I do have central a/c and heat, but where I reside it can get in the triple digits in the summer. Product did not meet expectations. I used ice, the 2 ice packs that come with device and some I bought separately. I even put ice at the top like instructed.
I could have kept my money and invested in a window unit.

not impressed:
I am so disappointed. I didn't have high expectations but expectations nonetheless!!! This does not work. My normal fan was cooler!!! I had two ice packs at the top and still only warm air, even with me being 12 inches away from the product.
It doesn't deserve one star but I had to give it in order to write this review. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I DID. In these trying economic times your money could be better spent

Well built product and I'm sure will last for many years. Cooling doesn't work as hoped even with included ice packs. I've added my own ice and along with ice packs and adds a little bit of cooling so don't be disappointed if you expect it to make a noticeable difference vs a regular fan.

Not a great product. It moves air around, but does very little cooling. Even using ice packs, near-ice cold water, and adding in a frozen ice block the air blowing from the unit it just barely cooler than room temperature. Even though the unit is on the cheaper end I still expected slightly better. My advice would be to stay away from this product.
