kelly bowling: I used this reel for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed with the smooth casting, the ease of the way the handle reels the line in. I could see the rod bend with the action of the lure, but the actual reeling of the line felt weightless. It casts remarkably far, and the magnetic spool kept the line from tangling. The only criticism is Amazon. I bought this reel a full 7 days before it finally arrived, despite the fact I'm a Prime member. I don't know why Amazon is always late with my packages lately. If you're looking for a great reel, especially if this is the first time you've used a level wind baitcaster, I stongly recommend this reel. However, I recommend going down to the local tackle shop, or department store, or ordering it from somewhere else. Unless you like slow, unpredictable shipping.

It casts smoothly, and it reels so quickly that the fish hardly have time to jump.my one complaint is,
when I try to cast light lures it will get big bird’s nests. But it casts heavy lures amazingly.
I think it works perfect.
