H2oman: Great value for the money, well built reel, function is effortless very smooth operation forward and reverse. I have only had it 4 months and cast diving baits at a lake pretty constantly reel seems durable at this point. The Valiant has the high retrieval ratio and is made for fresh or salt water so should survive a submission if you're a kayak fisherman.

Keith Wright: Super smooth I paired it with the telescoping kastking rod. They look great together perfect match. I carry it with me on my motorcycle, for whenever I see a juicy fishing spot. Spotted seas trout, flounder, snook, to bass, spec, bluegill, and crappie. A great lure reel, that I'm not afraid of tromping around with. Can't beat it for the price.

Brian A VandiverBrian A Vandiver: Excellent reel. Very similar to the KastKing Royal Legend Glory, and I prefer them both over the KastKing Speed Demon Elite for largemouth bass fishing. I paired this 4000 reel with the KastKing Valiant Eagle Passage travel rod (7-6 fast, MH). I prefer a stronger rod, but the reel and 40 lb KastKing braid got the job done on the first outing with this 5.56 lb hog. Very pleased. KastKing makes quality and affordable reels. 👍🎣
