Jack Christmas: The size is perfect for two people, which was the attraction. But the design is poor. The filter lid fell into the hot oil during the first use and the filter slipped into it the second time. (Neither are affixed). Having cooked thousands of seafood dinners in restaurants, I set the temperature at the usual 350 degrees. Unfortunately that’s too hot for this appliance, as the breading turned too brown while the scallops and shrimp were only half cooked. Will reduce the heat until I figure it out, but it’s been a disappointing start.
