Kristin: Beautiful book, colorful. Great recipes for plant free living. I really like this! I've seen many say that these recipes are too simple and boring. I would disagree. For someone like me who doesn't want to spend hours in the kitchen or a ton of money buying all the special ingredients, I appreciated this book. Worth it for beginners especially!

Paul YocumPaul Yocum: I really like her and her family is beautiful and represents a certain Instagram lifestyle but if you live in 4 season Europe having this many recipes of frozen fruit sugar overload is not helpful. I know it's healthier than processed but if my child ate this much sweet things not sure it's good for them
I was dissapointed how many smoothies and desserts there are and if you don't like coconut there are only handful recipes. For people who have been vegan for a while nothing surprising unfortunately.
I probably wasn't the right audience and will give this away.

Anonymous: A few years ago I got very sick and it changed everything in my body. I developed IBS and overnight the foods I used to love and enjoy as a vegetarian became my enemies. Fruits and vegetables are limited to me now and I have been feeling so stuck with my diet and generally unhappy. All of my meals are bland, lacking in color and flavor. I thought for sure this was the only way and that I needed to resign myself to this fate because it was better than where I had been. Anytime I saw someone eating a whole watermelon, sipping a green juice or eating a cookie, I thought they were so blessed. I started following accounts on instagram that inspired me and were filled with things I wished I could eat, as a way to help manifest the impossible, that I might eat these foods someday without pain but also to celebrate anyone who could eat them and to cheer them on. One of those accounts was Andrea (Earthy Andy) on Instagram, I would sit and watch her make smoothies for the whole family, stir lemon water by the beach, bake cookies made with chickpeas ( anything laced with dairy is my worst nightmare, matched only by the terror of legumes, which bloat me in...

Sabreen: This is my favorite book, or I should say: Journey in a book. I am already a vegetarian/Mediterranean so I did not need the extra push to let go of meat/processed food and eat more plants as our Mediterranean diet is full of plants and we make almost everything from scratch (Bread, Jam, canned and fermented goods, etc..). However, Andy was still able to change our lives! We are guilty of buying processed snacks and desserts as it is convenient and it's also hard to find vegan recipes that actually work to be good (My stomach can't tolerate dairy). Ever since I got Andy's book I have been trying out her recipes and I can't express in writing how satisfying and delicious they are, it's a plus to know that you are having something nutritious and not high in sugar; especially when it comes to desserts. I have not even got to my favorite part about this book and that is that it's not simply a cookbook! It's an educational book with a life-changing 30-day challenge that I am following right now. It takes you on a complete journey of learning about Andy's story and feeling like you are having a cup of tea together talking about life. It then moves to talk about the value of plants in a...

L2donahueL2donahue: The media could not be loaded. This. This is the book. Whether you've never eaten a vegetable in your life or you're a self-proclaimed herbivore, this is the book. I've been following Andy for years and was elated when she announced that she was coming out with a cookbook. However, I had to hold myself accountable for judging this book fairly, and not just decide to like it because she takes great smoothie bowl pictures and has adorable children. (They are so adorable, though!) The day I recieved my book I started reading and before I knew it I was over 50 pages in, hooked, and I hadn't even reached the recipes yet. The book is beautifully laid out, easy to follow, and the pictures are to DIE for. However, the most impressive part of this book is the amount of KNOWLEDGE and EDUCATION she includes! All of my life I have dealt with hypothyroidism symptoms, although I've never been diagnosed, along with many other mystery health issues. Andy does such a great job of explaining her health journey and how plants have helped heal her, while encouraging the reader. It also meant a lot to me that she had a doctor review the book so you know you are getting quality, factual...

ErubesErubes: This book is a life changer. We’ve been dappling into the plant based cooking for a couple years now and found it was a lot of work. (After my husbands heart attack) When my sister showed me “@earthyandy” ‘s Insta I started trying a few things here and there. She made it really easy! After pre ordering her book we got a couple taster recipes in which I made nearly all of them, they became quick favourites in my house and some weekly traditions! My kids (picky eaters, age 8 and 10) were never really fully on board with plant based until we started cooking earthyandy’s recipes. Now they have used post it flags to completely mark up this book full of favourite recipes and things they want to try.
Thank you Andrea for making such an amazing book that is truly something that is functional and usable for a family. We started your 30 day plants over processed challenge, and it actually doesn’t even feel like a challenge because my whole family is hanging around the kitchen every meal excited for the next recipe to taste. My 10 year old daughter actually asked me to make her the Thai crunch salad again for supper tonight and I don’t think I’ve ever heard her ask for a...

Vanessa Baron: What I love about this book: There are images for each recipe (something I look for and value in a cookbook), the recipes are appealing and from the ones I have made so far, delicious. The ingredients have been readily available at grocery stores in my area.
What didn't work out as I had hoped, but easy to tweak:
1. I have made the "magic cookies" twice now. The first time I followed the recipe exactly as laid out, but my cookies did not bake properly (I had to add an additional 15 minutes as they were raw inside). The batter is not as solid as most other cookie batters. The second time round, I put a little less peanut butter and switched to the convection setting on my oven and they turned out perfectly. The recipe says to roll the cookie dough into balls, but I found the batter way too sticky/liquidy to do so, so I just scooped some batter onto the pan with a spoon and flattened it out a bit. My kids love these cookies and one of them only lives off pogos and grilled cheese, so getting some actual nutrients in him via the chickpeas is an awesome feeling.
2. I made the "hug me lentil soup" last night and was a bit disappointed that it did not look a thing...
