Heiko BaumgartnerHeiko Baumgartner: Hab was gesucht für meine Balkon Türe die bei leichten Windstößen immer aufging. Hab dann den Türmagneten mit doppelseitigen Klebeband an die Balkontür von innen geklebt und dieser hält die Tür gut zu. Das mitgelieferte Klebeband hat nicht gut gehalten weshalb ich ein besseres genommen habe. Ist nicht schön und wahrscheinlich werde ich den Magneten oben an die Tür anbringen aber funktioniert auf jeden Fall. Warum vier Sterne ? Die Rückseite des Türmagneten die zum ankleben eigentlich genutzt werden sollte ist nicht eben sodass ich diesen falsch herum ankleben musste. Da das Produkt ja auch nicht für meinen Einsatz konzentriert wurde ist das ok für mich aber auf den Bildern war das nicht zu sehen…

Drew from IL: Use as a catch on my pull out trash can cabinet since my industrious golden doodle could nuzzle her way into the trash. Both magnets on the side jambs of the cabinet were too strong, a single unit on the top rail holds strong. Almost too much, but I know my dog is not getting in. The screws are not stainless. The double sided tape is not strong enough the hold the plate to the door, but I always planned on screwing it.

D. RichardsonD. Richardson: I recently bought a pantry cabinet from Amazon and one side of the bottom part has a normal door while the other side has a door with shelves. The magnetic latches included with the cabinet (on the right in the photo) were fine for the regular door but completely inadequate to hold the extra weight of the door with shelves. That’s where these magnetic latches came in. I upgraded the latch on the side with the door shelves to one of these larger/stronger magnetic latches and now it stays closed perfectly.

Maggie K.: Ultimately can't complain as it did what i needed it to do and was easy to instal. Magnet is fairly strong, but you have to install perfectly for the plate to be attracted to the magnet. After an adjustment I got it to work. NOTE - it's load with an interior hollow core door when the door closes and the magnet attracts the metal plate - "clunk"

Dewey Bumstead: I built a kitchen pantry door and needed a mechanism to secure the door to the jamb. The Cherry door was heavy @ 97 pounds, so I went with ball bearing hinges. I decided to give this magnetic strike a try and I am not disappointed. It actually has the perfect holding power for this heavy door. 5☆ if the screws were a tad heavier.
