The handle is perfect for my small hands as well as my bf’s large ones. the blade is sturdy and sharp. I find it to be very well balanced and the perfect weight. Not at all flimsy and not too heavy. You won’t regret this purchase. I’d recommend to anyone who cuts breads and tomatoes etc.

Tom2154: Best small knife on the market. Had one years ago and lost it, and this one matches the other knives in the set. Razor sharp, so BE CAREFUL with it. Perfect for preparing fruits, pitting peaches, nectarines, etc. Slices through anything like butter. I was lost without mine, and I looked at some priced much higher but this one is amazing and well worth the price.

tracytracy: It's a very lovely knife sharp. Got some weight ,but not too heavy. Sliced a watermelon no problem. I have pretty small hands , and this handle is smaller then my other knives[assrt brands] . It's a lovely handle if if short. It could be slippery if oil or water on hand so use caution. It's a oval shaped handle, with no finger rest. I realize it's it's carver , but at 12ninches not 10, just pointing it out. It's a lot of knife. I'm going to go back to slicing my watermelon now. Last thought. Because it's so long. Any sheath would have been nice for storage

PM:
I was a little surprised by the fancy packaging it arrived in, but it is a fairly nice knife. The handle is pretty smooth, but definitely grippier than the smooth steel handle on the Chicago Cutlery knife I have been using most for chopping veggies. I do wish the handle was little larger in diameter for better control and comfort...
The blade is a bit thinner than I expected, so the knife is pretty light in weight, but it seems sufficient. The blade width across the full length makes it a bit better as a spatula for scooping up and moving items.
I really didn't think the blade was that sharp to the touch, but it easily slices through everything I've used it on, including tough kombucha pumpkin skin. It seems worth the price.

Alex:
Comfortable handle and really sharp.
Still need to wait and see how often I need to sharpen it but at the moment even while being very careful I noticed a couple of small non penetrating cuts on my fingers - received after washing it though, not when using.
This one is good for cutting hard things and has pretty good control.
I could slice some really hard cheese into paper thin slices. (it would not work with soft cheeses but with a knife less sharp or with thinner blade there would be less control and slices would have to be thicker)
I may get a vegetable knife from them and see how it compares to a regular Henkel I have.
I make a lot of salads and vegetable dishes so eventually differences in tools get more noticeable.
