Renate Clawson: My husband and I drink so much Masala chai that I started buying the ingredients and grinding my own tea and spices. I found a really good recipe that matches the flavor of the Tazo Chai Latte concentrate I used to buy. You can find it at a web site called "the things we'll make" (leave out the apostrophe in we'll) how to make chai tea from scratch in bulk. The difference between grinding my own ginger and other spices, over getting them already ground in spice jars is huge, and totally worth the effort. I grind up the recipe and keep them in a mason jar. I use it up so fast, it doesn't have time to get stale.
