John Falikowski: Easy to hold and focus in one hand. Feels well built with quality materials. I like the hinged lens cover that prevents loss or mid placement. Need a steady hand for long range viewing or image will be shaky. Tripod solves that. Have not used the phone adapter because it seems a little clumsy to line it all up. Seems to be a good value for the price. UPDATE: Reviewed video that made use of phone adapter easier.

J. Bond: I’m a bit of an optics snob, and I have high-end ($1000+) binoculars from Steiner and others. However, I am a long-distance cyclist and constant vibration and bumps destroyed my favorite Steiner monocular (an 8x22 ~$80 Steiner Miniscope). I thought about buying another Miniscope, but it really doesn’t have much magnification and it’s fragile. SoI decided to look for something “cheap” with more magnification, with the goal of spending less than $100. I found this Pankoo 40x60 Monocular and, along with a 30% off coupon, paid ~$40.00 US (before tax).
I will say this monocular is quite nice. Comparing the Pankoo to my $650 Vortex Viper binoculars (the ‘cheapest’ of my nice binoculars), the difference is huge, BUT it costs 16% as much. I have used it to watch fledgling bald eagles in their nest about 200m away and it worked perfectly. Honestly, at that range it’s better than the Steiner, although comparing an 8x22 to a 40x60 isn’t a fair comparison. It’s also much heavier than the Steiner, but again it has much higher magnification.
I can hang it off my saddle bag and it gets bumped and abused but it has held up well. And if it dies, I can replace it...

PhonziePhonzie: It's a nice monocular, great that it comes with a stand and camera phone holder. You'll need it if you plan on capturing clear images from a longer distance. So i added photos so you can see what I've seen. I originally bought this monocular to use at a shooting range so I can see my hits on a paper target 100+ yards away. I have not been able to test it at a shooting range, but testing it at home was promising. The monocular itself has a decent zoom and adjustable focus that gives you a nice clear image BUT it is not a strong enough zoom for what I'm looking for. With the cell phone attachment, it may be able to accomplish what I need it to do. I'll find out soon enough. Use my photos as a reference for zooming. I am currently using a Samsung S23 ultra at 25x for the final zoomed in photo. My phone can definitely zoom farther if needed.

David: I like taking these on hikes. They are much lighter then a set of binoculars and still provide a great viewing experience.
