Mommy of 2: My contractor sent me this item to purchase so I blindly bought it without reading the reviews, shame on me. Customer support resolve my issue as the product did not work from the moment it was installed but regardless we have an installed water heater that doesn’t work. Install was very difficult as conveyed by contractor and cost us more then the unit itself and will continue to cost us as we have to replace the item and my contractor has quoted us a few hours to uninstall and replace with another heater system. The seller sent us some great guidance on how to check if our unit was working properly and after all the tests we determined that the item was in fact faulty and max water temperature is 91 degrees. It seems that I am not alone in this issue and this item should be considered to be removed as the reviews are as bad as they are good. I definitely do not recommend. There seems to be a 50/50 shot if you will get a good one. Good news is customer service has been responsive and helpful if you still want to purchase and take your chances.

Noob vs the worldNoob vs the world: I liked that it was compact and easy to install providing you know what your doing. It made enough hot water to wash your hands and that’s it. But that was all I needed in my shop

However after a year from install it just quit working. Led doesn’t light up but the buttons do. I run the water and it won’t heat up.

Marc-antoine G: J’ai installé le chauffe-eau pour mon garage. Fonctionne très bien. Plus le débit est réduit plus l’eau est chaude. Atteint facilement 105 degrés à débit raisonnable. Excellent service après vente. J’ai eu des petits problèmes et ils ont remédié au problème immédiatement. Merci. Pour l’alimentation faire attention il faut plutôt un 10/2 avec 30 amp.

Charles W.: Under sink installation difficult. Power source was not available also it should be dedicated line. Once it is clipped in is difficult to take out because the mounting bracket is plastic. Mine broke. Also locating it under the kitchen sink is important because it could make removal a problem. I would not buy one again.

Joshua B.Joshua B.: I was looking for a small compact water heater for a hand washing sink, then this "beauty" popped up. I was ecstatic as this was perfect. Size, price, ease of connections. What could go wrong right?

two weeks after installing the unit i noticed the unit had a small puddle underneath of it, in my vanity. The leak appeared to have been there for a little bit as the bottom shelf of my vanity was all bubbled up. I looked over all my connections to see if i could find where the water was coming from. Nothing. So i took the front cover off and discovered a small leak coming from the octagon in the center of the unit. (See picture). I contacted the company and they were fast on responding and replaced the unit in its entirety.

I received the replacement unit and quickly got it installed. (the mounting bracket broke trying to get the old unit off. The mounting bracket is made of plastic and very cheap). I replaced the unit and turned the water back on. Everything looked good and after 10 mins, i noticed the unit was leaking in the same spot as the old one. I don't know if this is poor craftsmanship or luck of the draw.

BILL KBILL K: This is a nice little unit that installs easily and works well. My only issue is the wiring. It is designed for a back wire installation and not sit over a J box. For my installation I already had a power drop in a single gang box so I had to use a whip. I couldn’t find a 20 A 220V pigtail or outlet that wasn’t twist lock. I used a piece of 3/8” flexible conduit with an extension box at my power source. It was necessary to drill a 1/2” knock out hole in the bottom of the heater cover then pull out all the slack as I placed the cover. I left the extra slack in my J box for future service. All told I would buy it again.

BErvin: I have always needed an additional water heater for the sink in my bathroom that is a whole house away from the main water heater for the house. Running water for almost 3-4 minutes just to wash your face with warm water in the winter is a pain and a luxury that most of us avoid.
I had a 2gal tank -under the sink- water heater in my art classroom at school that was wonderful! So I investigated that idea for my home space. After comparing all of the options, (Thank you Amazon for your great return policy!) I chose this particular model and size.
Wow! What a difference in time, water waste and -I am sure -eventually $. It provides hot water right away and space-wise you can barely tell it is under the sink!. This is the way to go for anything I need like this again in the future-for sure! The water can be warm to very hot-so there doesn't seem to be a problem with the temperature - and it is endless-As long as I run it-it will not run out-I guess I could put this on the shower too-( I am not sure to what extent you can split the water flow without compromising the little device--There were larger ones for more water flow-)
