BK Y.: This is a good quality hose. You can tell the hose is very sturdy. I like the splitters effect and there are no leaks like other hoses I've used in the past. It's simple enough to turn on and off which is great because sometime that can get confusing.

dpdp: Very well made. It's all metal....no plastic. I did have to return my first one because it fell apart. So I purposely waited to write this review in order to see how this one held up. So far it is perfect. I feel the first one was a fluke. My replacement arrived quickly with no fuss. I originally had a plastic big box brand that leaked but not this one! I recommend this splitter, it will make your outdoor projects easier.

The Fife Flyer: Arrived today. Sealed all 3 joints with PTFE and LSX silicone sealant. Left it a few hours and as soon as the tap was turned on, skoosh......soaked from several leaks.
Will add an extra washer to tap connection tomorrow, and if the same, then will be sending it back. If it works, I`ll edit the review.
EDITED 29/8/23: Added an extra washer to the tap end connector and that was enough to seal it. No more leaks. Good and sturdy kit and now works perfectly.

mark: So , I needed a splitter , as I live in the country , and my original drain stopped working for my washer which is on a lift SEPTIC system . The pipe is clogged way under ground . So , I cut a hole in my home basement wall, where my laundry discharges . The pipe that is , follow me ? I put this splitter on two 3/4 contractor quality garden hoses inside the basement , for the Winter . The hoses will be insulated and one 3/4 hose goes directly into my septic drain line at the house . This propulsion in Winter keeps my line clear , " CLEAR " oops ! The other hose goes 20 ft. encased in 1 1/2 PVC to the same septic lift station .
THIS SPLITTER IS EXCELLENT . It is so easy to manipulate the water . IT WORKS VERY SMOOTHLY AND NO LEAKS , AT ALL !!
In Summer , as I live in Colorado , I am capturing the water from my washer in 55 gallon barrels via one or both hoses to fight FIRE DANGER , as I have a neighbor [ here in the country ] that does not keep her grass mowed [ it gets high and dies ] and is a fire hazard . I have pumps and sprayers ready . One dry Summer , one cigarette butt , as I live on a major highway . I pick up butts along my place all the time

Maya GDMaya GD: It was leaking all over, from everywhere when I first fixed it on, but what you need to do is to use the round rubber washers that come with it. put 2 or 3 of them in the top part that connects the tap to it. It fastens and makes it tighter so that water doesn’t leak any more. I’ve had it for couple of weeks and I’m very happy with the product.

Shopaholic Mum: Having had two brass ones that the valves break after only a year opted for this and it’s brilliant. Excellent design and ease of use with large handles that are easy to use. Fitted onto tap easily but it comes with a few extras to help but I didn’t need them. Would highly recommend!

The plastic and metal are still shiny after several months outdoors on the coast. Most other metals start showing corrosion within weeks.
I would get this again.
