TonyP1964: Decent handle, looks to be wood with 3 rivets. Says made in china on it but appears to be a pretty good knife especially considering the low price. Was cutting up a top round roast for chili, didnt realize how dull my other knives were till I pulled this one out. Currently the sharpest in my kitchen. Works well.

Sherrill Brown: This product is amazing. I did not have a local butcher nearby that had both reasonably priced meats and the willingness to slice it into less than .25in thick slices, so I decided to get a better knife. This knife has not let me down yet. I've used it on about 50lbs of meat so far and it isn't dulling. The *only* downside for this knife is the sheath that comes with it. It's, literally, just a cardboard sheath. It serves my purpose well enough but even a simple fake leather one would have made this the best purchase of my life. Enjoy the simplicity in cutting meat this knife will bring you!

Torch: Let me give you a little history first. I make teriyaki jerky. A lot of teriyaki jerky, like 15-20 lbs. a week. I came up with a really good recipe and sell it where I work. I can't ever satisfy supply and demand. I have tried so many knives and meat slicers(electric and manual) more then I can remember. I need to make jerky fast and meat cutting is very time consuming.
ok, so I have determined this knife is made by Hattori Hanzo (Kill Bill fans will know what I mean). You can almost literally just push the knife down and make razor thin angled slices in no time. Actually one stroke forward is all that is needed. I can make a pound of any kind of meat in one minute, perfectly thin sliced. This knife will never see the dishwasher and am thinking of buying a sheath and hanging it over my fireplace.

Mike Hix: I had been wanting a meat slicing knife for brisket for quite some time but wasn’t sold on the idea that you “needed” a meat slicing knife. Trust me you do. I ran this knife over the honing rod (for clarity, the honing rod is mine it wasn’t included) to remove any wire edge that might be there. The brisket came off exceptionally tender and I thought it would be challenging to cut slices, it was already falling apart. I was wrong! This knife cut the most even perfect slices, any thickness I wanted. You need this knife!
