Yes it's taken me a while to wait a review but I just got to the point where I had to read this book but I can't because the print is so small I have to buy a strong magnifying glass to read it. I wish I would have started reading it when I first got it because I cannot return it now but it is TINY print. When I first received it I said it aside and since I had read about her recipe book on Pinterest, I decided to order her spiral bound bone broth cookbook with more than 125 recipe, help you lose pounds inches Etc. In fact I ordered two one for me and one for my daughter-in-law. This cookbook I love because it has a lot of information but the 10-day belly slim down is ridiculous I can't even attempt to read it like I mentioned because I have to get a magnifying glass a really strong magnifying glass.

KatDub: Does this diet plan work? I dont know yet. I do know its highly informative on the subjects of nutrition and weight loss. And its full of 'easy to make' recipes - 80 of theqm.
I'm happy with the purchase and the price.

City Mom: This book and its companion (Dr. KA Bone Broth Diet) are a fascinating look at the chemistry and biology of weight loss for the distinctly non-science-y types . Dr. KellyAnn lays out a road map of not only WHAT you need to do to lose weight, but WHY this approach works and HOW you are improving your health exponentially by following her guidelines. Some of the other reviews come from people who couldn't power through the "Carb Flu" or get used to the restricted eating window she teaches about. Trust her wisdom - she promises it will get better quickly and it does!
I began my journey in January, 2022 by first eliminating alcohol from my diet two weeks before starting the 10-day plan and lost 2 pounds. (I was relieved that despite my COVID-induced alcohol habit, I apparently wasn't drinking enough to lose 5-10 pounds in those two weeks as I had read about on other blogs.) Then I followed the 10-day slimdown religiously for 15 days, keeping alcohol to zero. After the first five days (which were admittedly VERY HARD!) I lost my sugar/carb cravings and regained my energy. Be aware that if you cheat, you prolong the agony - just don't do it! I kept a daily record of my weight loss...

Betty Watson: Wow! I’ve done Atkins, Slimming world, Trim Healthy mama, Noom, IF ... nothing else has worked this fast or been this easy.
I was slightly above the healthy BMI after 2 leg surgeries, I’m a 46 yr old woman with 3 kids and my weight just seemed to be ticking inexorably up. 1 or 2 lbs higher every holiday and birthday.
This works. It is based on real healthy food. I was already a bone broth fan and accustomed to making it and cooking with it but it was still a leap to try it for breakfast. Chicken broth is best - lighter flavour and don’t stint on seasoning. I loved the fact I could have the same food as my kids (bar the carbs) for supper. It made it very family friendly.
Day 4 the carb flu hit me - I was space and I had a baaaad headache. But I was menstruating all the while I did this diet and have heavy periods. I had also had an active day away from home with not enough broth to hand. I often get a headache on day 4 of my cycle anyway. I took painkillers and went to bed early.
By day 5 I told myself that if the headache didn’t shift I’d give up. But I felt almost back to normal on waking and was down 5 lbs so I kept at it.
Today is day 7....

TJ: I am on day 10 of this diet. I have lost 9lbs and my jeans fit better. This diet is expensive and that's why the Hollywood elite can follow it so easily. I found the broth bones at a small meat shop at $5.00LB. If you roast them first you get a hearty bone broth and a weaker tasting one if you don't I also used meaty shank bones. A sprinkle of ginger in the morning helps if you have trouble with the smell. I reused my bones twice and never cut the veggies up small, easier to strain. I substituted LonoLife grass fed beef bone broth powder to make the afternoon veggie soup using 2 scoops instead of one. I did a Costco run buying baby greens, frozen organic blueberries, Futher Food Collagen (online), and I substituted Orgain Organic Protein, plant based, to make my lunch smoothie. I know she said this was a no no, but did you research how much the other one cost?! I also cheated with my morning coffee. I used one Splenda and coffee- mate. Other than that I followed it. I bought quart canning jars to put the broth in. Very handy to reheat. The handful of the frozen blueberries were the highlight of my day! Recipes are very good, even though she loves cabbage!

TMark: I absolutely love this diet program! My husband & I both followed the program pretty closely (with some minor modifications) and each lost 8 pounds in 10 days, and have more energy than we have had in years! The first 6 days were really rough for my husband, and once he got past the 'carb flu' he was a champ to finish the 10 day program. Making the bone broth is time consuming & expensive, but well worth it, the recipes are very tasty and you do not feel deprived or hungry because you can 'fill in' with bone broth. This program taught us about how much sugar, sugar substitutes, and MSG are in our food; and has reminded us to read labels again. We are now modifying our daily diet with this book & the 120 recipe book, and have begun to teach my family about the health benefits of going back to the basics of eating without all the additives & preservatives found in most of our prepared foods these days. If nothing else, get the book and decide for yourself. Many of the food items can now be found in your local health food store.
