Zojirushi 1350-Watt Gourmet d'Expert Electric Skillet - EP-RAC50

Sal: We love Zojirushi products. The products are always high quality and always worth the money.
I got it like new condition as it was surprisingly available faster. It came almost new with no damage, maybe just the packaging was bit taped over.
We love the product and use it regularly for making hot pots and making crawfish voile etc. The coating is high quality and it is easy to clean. We just use Mr. Clean products for avoid any scrubbing to avoid scratches. The products heats up pretty quickly and very evenly. It shows research and engineering gone into Zojirushi products.

The product was so good that I ordered another one, the larger model, for larger gatherings. Unfortunately we cannot use them together as it tripped our circuit breaker due to overload. So kind the wattage and use the parallel equipment on same breaker accordingly.

Pros:
1. Great product of high quality and standards. Non-stick coating is high quality and stands up over consistent use.
2 . It heats very evenly and uniformly.
3. Easy to clean and store.
4. Magnetically attached cord is just genius idea. We have a dog and kids as visitors. Even after with precaution, near accident...

Sinchoy: We need help. This is an update. Why does the light go out and the temperature drops when cooking. Is this appliance defective?

Canʻt ever go wrong with Zojirushi. I just used to make Chinese Pretzels. Temperture was constant.
Very well made as all their products, packaged extremely well. Well worth the price.

Jason: It doesn't really got hot enough to sear meat. The hottest it gets is comparable to like medium on my gas stove, it doesn't even get to medium-high.

Mimi Le: I didn't expect that it is huge, good for at least 4ppl. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, easy to clean. Just need space for storage. Consistent heating so I don't need to adjust the temperature often.

Ariauna: I endorse everything about this skillet. It heats up fast, cooks all meats tender and even gets hot enough to sear meats! It’s works for slow cooking, a fryer and skillet all in one. It even steams!! I have had my first one for several years and everything is still functioning perfectly. I love the ease of this skillet so much that I purchased a second one a couple years after my first because I often cook multiple things at the same time for my family. I rarely use my stovetop now.

The titanium ceramic pans have held up great. The pans clean up so easily that most of the time I wash by hand. I wait for them to completely cool (as you need to do with all ceramic cookware) and then simply rinse them out and give them a light hand wash. I have occasionally placed the pans in the dishwasher top rack after cooking heavy fat meats in them and haven’t had any deterioration in the pans coating. **Note with ceramic cookware you want to let the pan completely cool before adding any water to it or even rinse them. They do also recommend avoiding the dishwasher do to the harsh detergents used in the dishwasher however I have done this numerous of times with these pans and...

S. Oravetz: That title might sound a bit like an exaggeration but it's really not. I live with every pot, pan, plate, utensil and restaurant range benefits a girl could wish for in a kitchen, but.....you knew there had to be a "but" right? I'm tired! I'm getting older! I don't want to clean pots, pans and spend hours cleaning stove tops and parts any more! I want meals to be simple, quick, easy but still tasty but above all else I DO NOT want to spend an hour every night cleaning up the mess and at least once a week taking the top of the stove apart to clean every square inch of the burners, grates, etc!

My life has changed! I have been cooking with this new combo for over a month now and I'm just plain thrilled! Here's how I simplified everything. I had my husband build a wood panel the size of 4 burners on my 6 burner plus barbecue Viking Range. My electric skillet sits on that board. My burners stay clean underneath and all I have to do is wipe the wood panel off. I still have two burners when push-comes-to-shove or it's not efficient to use the Zojirushi ...that has not happened very often except boiling up a couple of eggs or heavy duty searing of a fillet steak which I prefer in...
