Shel: I really wanted to like this product. It had some trouble pairing with my samsung buds, but once connected it worked just fine. The microphone cuts in and out. If you just need a dongle to make bluetooth headphones work on your PS4, then this is a great product for the price. If you need consistent microphone, then i don't know if this is it. I don't blame the manufacturer, it is 100% on playstation for not allowing bluetooth devices.

Sara Wellington: I’ve had this adapter for over a month. I tried and tried to get it to work, and could not for the life of me figure it out. I was trying with my AirPods, so I even bought a different brand to see if that was the issue. I could get it to pair to the dongle, but there was no sound.

I finally looked at some pictures from other reviews and saw someone had it plugged into a different USB port than I did (I had mine on the one towards the middle, near the disc opening). Once I moved it, VOILA it worked!!! The connection was terrible and spotty with the cheaper headphones I had, but so far it seems great with my AirPods. I don’t really do any online multiplayer stuff, so I can’t speak to how the microphone or audio lag and quality might be with that, but playing my regular game it seems great.

Only 4 stars because of the absolute headache I had trying to get it to work, but I hope this review might save someone the trouble!

MovieMan312: Works exactly as advertised. It’s the simplest solution I found online for my new PS4 slim. I used to use the optical port on my old PS4 but wanted to upgrade my counsel. I tried the most expensive Sony headphones (I think they’re called platinum or something) and absolutely hated them. The head strap is made of rubber and the sound quality is crap. No where near my Bose quiet comfort in sound quality and comfort. Bottom line is this: there is no programming or messing around with the PS4 settings using this product which is great. It’s plug and play. I put the USB transmitter in the USB slot on my PS4, turned on the unit, pressed and held the button on the transmitter to activate pairing, did the same with my headphones and within seconds they paired and I was in business. That simple. There comes a small 3.5mm wireless jack you can plug into your controller for microphone capabilities but I never use that feature so I just put it in a drawer. Works fine without it. GREAT PRODUCT!!!! EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKIG FOR!!!! THANK YOU!!!

C Naylor: This connected the very first time I tried it with my AirPods but the audio got spotty really quickly and stopped working, then after disconnecting them, using them for a call on my phone and trying to reconnect to my Playstation i cannot get it to work again. I have my Bluetooth shut off on my phone. I’ve switched ports. Tried to re-pair them again. It says they are connected but I can’t hear anything through them. Really frustrating and not worth the buy. I have basic AirPods and a 2020 PS4. Don’t buy them unless you wanna be preistarted.
