Col J.: Turns out, Bluetooth 5.3 isn't as lag-free as they're advertised and I don't believe that's so because this particular dongle is cheap. I own 2 Bluetooth 4.0 dongles (one expensive and one cheap) and they both perform about the same. 4.0 dongles have very noticeable lag when paired with other 4.0 Bluetooth audio devices.

Now, the 5.3 improves on the lag of the 4.0 but you still get 0.2 to 0.3 seconds of lag when watching videos paired with 5.3 earbuds. It's pretty bad but tolerable for the convenience of going wire-free.

Simply, I don't think Bluetooth is quite there yet in terms of wireless audio connected to a PC. Video watching you can deal with the lag, but don't you dare play games with it LOL. For games, you gotta shell out the big bucks for Logitech's Lightspeed technology or other headsets with their respective proprietary dongles.

In conclusion, it's not worth upgrading from the 4.0 if your main need for this dongle is audio. Keep your 4.0 dongle and use the money you saved not buying this dongle to get yourself a set of proper wireless earbuds or a headset.

I have a computer that drives my TV. I had a bluetooth dongle plugged into it so that I could use wireless headphones with my TV. But the headphones were crackly and would cut out sometimes. I was not sure if it was the $50 skullcandy headphones or the bluetooth. So I bought this adapter. Not only is the audio PERFECT now.. but I also can walk anywhere in my house and still get that perfect audio. This does EXACTLY what it advertises...

Cris ConnersCris Conners: There isn't too much to say about a product like this, but that's a good thing. Physically it's a nice size small but not too small that you can't pull it out of the USB port. It's plastic but it feels quality enough with a glossy texture. The packaging is also nice, at least as nice as it can be. They also include a thank you note with some stickers, which is always a welcome surprise and make you feel more appreciated.

Set up was as easy as it could be. I plugged it into my PC and then in the bottom right corner, the Bluetooth icon showed up, and now I can add my devices. Everything pairs nice and quickly and I haven't had any connection issues. The range is pretty good I can go a couple rooms away before getting any sort of issues.

For years now I've been using my PC without Bluetooth, but now for less than $10 I have a 5.3 connection.

Zaida Colón: I purchased the XDO Long Range Bluetooth Adapter for my PC, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The delivery was quick, as I received the product in just 3 days, even though I live in Puerto Rico. Right from the start, I was impressed with the care taken in the packaging, and they even included some stickers as a unique touch, which I found charming.

Mounting the adapter on my PC was a breeze as it fit perfectly into an available USB port. However, I must mention that the initial installation was a bit frustrating. The adapter comes with a USB that contains a driver, but unfortunately, I encountered issues with the driver not functioning correctly. Thankfully, the manual provided a link to download an updated driver.

Once I downloaded and installed the updated driver from the provided link, the installation process was surprisingly easy and quick. My PC recognized the Bluetooth adapter immediately, and I was able to connect all my devices without any issues. One of the main reasons I purchased this adapter was to finally connect a Soundbar that I had received as a gift to my PC, and I was thrilled that it worked seamlessly.
