Clive: Bought this scale to replace a faulty Fitbit Aria. The scale looks similar, but the display is larger and provides more info on the Yunmai.
The scale seems very accurate and works well with the Android and Apple apps.
The app is not needed to use the scales, but provides a host of additional information.
Turn on the app, stand on the scales and the software did the rest. I was able to link to the Samsung Health app - and the data transfer is seamless.

Godless Heathen: this works really well and is compatible with my Samsung health app. all the info in generates is fairly accurate within probably 3% margin of error, which is handy when you're trying to target muscle mass, bone density, bmi, visceral fat etc

RonW19: Compared to the fitbit the YUNMMAI Premium Smart Scale is a winner for its price. The Fitbit scales have a tendency to break down and there is nothing you can do about it. We have had the YUNMAI for several months and are very happy

This: As far as I can tell, it's a great scale. I purchased this because I wanted a scale that I could track my weight loss "progress" (ahem) with. Namely, with my phone - I don't know of any other method besides manually tracking it, which I would do if I wasn't so lazy. Of course, if I wasn't so lazy, I wouldn't be on a diet and tracking my weight.

Anyway, I don't have tons data to "verify" the actual weigh-in, except for a trip to the doctor's office with the old slide-o-matic scale and the Yunmai was right on par - only a few lbs. off (less than the Dr's. office but I had all my clothes on (jeans, shirt, socks, banana hammock, etc.) at the Dr's office and was au natural when weighing in on the Yunmai. As for the rest of the metrics (bone mass, skeletal muscle, protein, visceral fat, body fat, etc.) I'm really not interested in as I am not a professional athlete. If I was, I would not rely on any scale to tell me those things - my trainer would.

I do like the BMI, BMR and water % metrics.... BMI tells me how fat I am, BMR tells me how much I can eat (calorie-wise) to maintain my weight (please research how BMR works and what it measures - it is NOT your daily caloric...

…oh you’re back? Awesome! Now with that said, being a clone or a knockoff isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I myself am not a Fitbit user and I doubt I’ll be one in the near future. For me personally, I just can’t justify spending over $100 on a bathroom scale no matter how many features it touts. This is where the Yunmai scale comes in. For half the price, the Yunmai scale seems to bring the same features (if not more) that comes with the Fitbit Aria. To preface the reason for my purchase, I’ve been using the same bathroom scale  Weight Watcher Scale by Conair WW89T Weight Tracking and Body Analysis Scale with Color Bar Display  for about ten years now.
