Zunächst einmal ist das Design modern und ansprechend. Sie fügt sich problemlos in mein Badezimmer ein und sieht dabei auch noch stylisch aus. Aber natürlich geht es nicht nur um das Aussehen. Die Leistung dieser Waage ist wirklich beeindruckend.

Die präzisen Messungen von Körperfett, Muskelmasse, Knochenmasse und Wasseranteil haben mir geholfen, meine Fortschritte auf meinem Fitnessweg zu verfolgen. Die Daten werden übersichtlich auf dem gut lesbaren Display angezeigt, und die Synchronisierung mit der RENPHO-App auf meinem Smartphone ist kinderleicht. Dadurch konnte ich meine Fortschritte im Laufe der Zeit nachverfolgen und motiviert bleiben.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Mehrbenutzerfunktion. Meine Familie kann die Waage ebenfalls verwenden und ihre Daten werden separat gespeichert, was sie zu einer großartigen Lösung für den gesamten Haushalt macht.

Lance: I've tried several scales that measure muscle, fat, etc. and spent WAY more money on them than this Renpho.

The Renpho is the ONLY one that ACTUALLY WORKS! It records what it says it tracks and, just as importantly, IT'S CONSISTENT! AND the mobile app works! And as a bonus, you don't need to create an account to use it all. WELL DONE, Renpho.

I've been using these scales for a few days now and when I measure myself a few times in a row, it has never once deviated from its first calculations.

The only things I think could use improvement is the mobile app user interface could be a little more user-friendly maybe even customizable, (I'm an application developer), and the size of the scales could be made larger by a few inches which would make it easier to step on and not slip and kill yourself.

As a side note - you don't need to have wet feet to use this, so you don't need to wait until you step out of the shower.

Best scales I've found yet - and WELL worth the money.

DAC: We had a scale that measured BMI and body fat that finally quit and needed a replacement. I did some background research and found scales ranging from $20+ to over $100. One of the reviews for this scale asked, "Why pay more?". The price was at the low end of the scale and we like the scale for the following reasons: 1) It is easy to use and connect the app; 2) it is attractive, lightweight and thin. The bathroom door would hit our previous scale. It now glides over the scale; and 3) the app is great. Once set up and paired with the scale, it automatically logs my weight and statistics when I weigh myself and I can open the app anywhere and review the data. You do not have to have your phone with you when you weigh yourself. HIghly recommended.

Aya209: Die Waage kam in einem Karton ohne unnötigen Verpackungsmüll. Optisch ist sie wirklich sehr schick und hochwertig.
Man kann sie auch sofort ausprobieren, da die erste Batterie schon dabei ist. Dann zeigt die Waage das Gewicht an. Möchte man mehr Informationen haben, braucht man die App, die man mithilfe des QR Codes in der Bedienungsanleitung ganz einfach runterladen kann.

Zur App:
Sie ist schnell heruntergeladen. Für das Einrichten kann man sich etwas Zeit nehmen und alles nach seinen Wünschen einrichten oder man macht nur das nötigste und bekommt ganz schnell Zugriff auf die Messergebnisse.
Die Einrichtung der Bluetooth-Verbindung war nicht sofort erfolgreich, aber nach wenigen Minuten ausprobieren hatte ich es geschafft. Seitdem hatte ich keineProbleme mit der Verbindung.
Die App an sich ist sehr Übersichtlich hält aber viele Daten bereit. Bei jedem Wiegen, wenn die App und die Waage syncronisiert wirden, Speichert die App Daten wie:

den BMI,
das Körperfett in %,
Das fettfreie Körpergewicht in kg,
das Subkutane Fett in %,

Ajedi32: I was hesitant to get a smart scale, because "smart" products often come with lots of privacy and security risks, or depend on external services maintained by sketchy companies that I don't trust. In this case I decided to get one anyway, because I needed a new scale and was getting annoyed at having to manually enter measurements from my old scale into Google Fit.

While this doesn't completely alleviate my concerns, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the companion app for this particular scale does not require an account in order to function. You can simply use the app without an account, and set it to automatically sync measurements to Google Fit (or other fitness tracking services).

One downside is that the app does need to be open when you step on the scale in order to record the measurements, but the scale has memory so you can take quite a few days worth of measurements without the app and then transfer them all at once.

Overall far better than I expected. The only way it could be better would be if there were some kind of industry standard for communicating with smart scales so that you could just sync to Google Fit or other services without...

Kamen: I'd been using an old metal scale that had been slowly deteriorating and when it finally died, I wanted to get another metal one as I did not trust a glass one, especially since I have to move mine after each weighing. For under twenty bucks, this scale is worth taking the chance. I have already bumped it against hard surfaces and it's dong just fine.
It's hard for me to confirm its accuracy, but its repeatability is great, and that's very important. My biggest pet peeve with other scales is the fake "keep reading within two pounds" trick that I have to go through great lengths to defeat. This one just shows you the actual reading of the weight progressing as you're getting on it and settles on the exact number it feels is best. It also has a convenient zero-adjustment (it's not really a calibration as to be such you require at least two points) that can be easily initiated on demand.
The overall size appears small but it's really adequate and I enjoy it's smaller footprint when stored.
I was worried about security with the app but it actually allows you to use it without creating accounts or any other privacy-inavindg permissions; the only one it requires is access to...

Eric F.: I've had this scale for about three years now. It provides a fairly quick reading which, with respect to body weight at least, is accurate and consistent. The app is fairly straightforward, displays a lot of useful metrics and trend lines, and I've never had any bugs or issues with syncing. I don't recall having to change the batteries in three years either.

But be warned: if you want an actual idea of your overall body composition, this won't work for you.

The body fat percentage reading is way off...for me, at an average/lean weight, its reported body fat % was more than 1.5% lower than reality, giving me a false impression for quite some time.

As for muscle mass, it seems like it simply doesn't even try. Despite several months of consistent strength training and gaining visibly more muscle mass over time, the scale always reports that my muscle mass is on a downward trend, likely because I'm losing significant fat as well. The trend lines in the app for overall weight vs. muscle mass appear to match up perfectly. It seems the scale is just using a fixed percentage of overall body mass to guess the user's lean mass, rather than trying to accurately measure...

M: I am a student of accredited Human Nutrition degree and we use various professional equipment for body composition readings at the university. I have tested this scale against our very expensive bio-impedance scale and they both have pretty similar readings, which only shows that this is a good quality personal body composition scale! Obviously, there will always be differences in results from various body composition methods as the perfect method wasn't discovered yet, except post mortem tissue analysis! So far, bio-impedance methods are highly accurate and good indicator of where you stand. This scale is very easy to use and the fact that you can connect it to your phone is pretty awesome! The value is also great, I can only recommend!
