Robin: This Arboleaf Smart Scale is a great scale at a reasonable price (currently $29.99). This takes three batteries (included), and I’m using the free iPhone app to track my weight and interesting information such as BMI, BMR, body fat, body type, body fat breakdown between visceral and subcutaneous fat, body water, skeletal muscle, muscle mass, protein and metabolic age.

I leave the app open when I weigh, and it always connects and records my weight and other information. Oddly, I don’t see the Arboleaf scale under my Bluetooth list and have never actually selected it to connect, but it automagically connects and works everytime. It didn’t work initially and gave me a message that Location Services needed to be turned on (which I did). You can add a profile for other users under the account tab.

My iPhone makes a sound when the app is records my weight. I weigh slightly higher than on my other home scale that I believe is pretty accurate, but my weight is always within a pound and usually within 1/2 pound (and even closer as I lose more weight). And I can’t say which is the more precise scale. The app records my info in list and graph form, which I find helpful...

ArcadiusArcadius: My first impression was not too good. The batteries included in the set were dead. I thought that the scale is broken, but after using my own new batteries, it started working.
After that, I went through the process of the installation. The Application looks friendly, and the whole installation process was quick. The scale asked me if I want to connect it to WiFi, and again, the process looks very easy. But when I tried to use it for the first time without an open application, the WIFI connection didn't work.
I repeated the WIFI setup process several times, it always completed with the message "successfully completed", but the WiFi didn't work.
I contacted the supprt (they answer very quickly), but they didn't tell me more than the manual.
TIP:
I was close to give up, but I tried one more thing - after the pairing process successfully completed, I didn't allow the application to close and made one more measurment. It it looks like the scale remembered the WiFi configuration.

Since than, the scale woks great. It measures a lot of body parameters and they are preaty consistand (I believe that accurate as well). But the best thing is the WiFi connection.

GnemikGnemik: The scale is easy to set up and has a nice minimalist appearance. It should fit in with most bathroom decor, and occupy little space. In fact, that's one of my issues with the product. It seems unusually small. It measures at about 10.25 inches, square. My Weight Watchers scale is 10" X 15", so the size difference is very noticeable. I wear a mens 8.5, and my feet practically fills the entire length surface. And, to fit the scale, and see the display, you have to position your feet carefully. I was able to accomplish this, but if you have longer feet and need ample space for your stance, this might be uncomfortable. (see the attached photos, a ruler is shown for size reference)
I do like that this gives you the option of using bluetooth or wifi to connect to your smartphone app. And, the app is compatible with Apple Health (and Google Fit, but it wasn't tested). You do need to register an account, but that is not a difficult process (email and password, basically). I used the bluetooth option. I already have too many things connected to my wifi, and happy to not add another. And, weigh-ins only happen once in the morning, so bluetooth works fine.
The scale comes with three...

Experienced ReviewerExperienced Reviewer: This is a really small scale. I measured it and it was 10" x 10". When I stepped on it my foot just barely fits and I wear a ladies size 9 shoe. My husband wears a size 12 men's shoe and his feet hang way over.

This scale worked well and was accurate. It would be good if you had small feet or a very small space to put your scale, but for my husband and I to both use the scale it's just not going to work.

I'm sort of at a loss for how to rate this because the listing does say it's only 10.2 inches, even though I measured 10 inches. I've included a photo of what my size 9 foot looks like on the scale.

I think we have pretty normal sized feet so I'm giving this 3 stars because I would expect a scale to fit average people, unless they were selling it particularly for tiny people.

Thanks for reading my review
