Clive: Bought this scale to replace a faulty Fitbit Aria. The scale looks similar, but the display is larger and provides more info on the Yunmai.
The scale seems very accurate and works well with the Android and Apple apps.
The app is not needed to use the scales, but provides a host of additional information.
Turn on the app, stand on the scales and the software did the rest. I was able to link to the Samsung Health app - and the data transfer is seamless.

Godless Heathen: this works really well and is compatible with my Samsung health app. all the info in generates is fairly accurate within probably 3% margin of error, which is handy when you're trying to target muscle mass, bone density, bmi, visceral fat etc

Doc Martin: First of all, what makes this scale great, is the company that sells it, Yunmai. They will absolutely bend over backwards for your satisfaction, which is exactly what they did for me; they deserve 10 stars. Never worked with a company that communicated back and forth with me so fast.
The first thing you'll notice when you receive this scale is the quality of the scale, even the packaging impressed me with heavy weighted cardboard and the batteries, carpet feet, and manuals all wrapped up nicely like you see in photos from other reviews. The scale itself definitely feels premium and has some heft to it; doesn't feel like it's made in China.
So far it's working great (don't recommend using on carpet, even with the provided feet) with weight measurements within a few tenths of each other when stepped on consecutively; the key is stepping in the same place every time, arms at your side, with your head facing forward. My scale is right under my towel rack, so I place the phone on the towel rack to check my weight on the phone at eye level. (CONNECTS TO GOOGLE FIT!)

…oh you’re back? Awesome! Now with that said, being a clone or a knockoff isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I myself am not a Fitbit user and I doubt I’ll be one in the near future. For me personally, I just can’t justify spending over $100 on a bathroom scale no matter how many features it touts. This is where the Yunmai scale comes in. For half the price, the Yunmai scale seems to bring the same features (if not more) that comes with the Fitbit Aria. Danielle Kawamura: I was considering getting a Bluetooth scale for a while but the reviews for the other two popular scales weren't that great so I didn't want to spend $100 or more on one if I didn't like it. After looking around and sorting by customer reviews, I found this one. The price was good and all the reviews were pretty positive.

When I received the scale, the setup was easy and fast and all I had to do from there was insert the batteries and weigh myself. I had also purchased a highly rated non-digital fat caliper from Amazon as well and comparatively the scale was within 1% of what the manual caliper said. Compared to the commercial gym scale I usually use (at the gym & at my work gym) the measurements were within 1 lb or less of that as well.

The app is pretty straight forward & easy to use and calculates your BMR, BMI, protein %, fat %, bone % visceral fat ranking, fitness age and metabolic rate. It also gives you the delta measurements from your last weigh in to current.

As for appearance, the scale is pretty slick looking and seems to be usable even without the app on or present, some other similar higher priced scales required the app at all times. The...
