Constructive Consumer Gal: This is a pretty small/shallow dish, and in hot weather well mostly of operate within a day. Strangely, I haven’t seen any birds in it, but there are quite a bit of woody areas nearby. I bought it because the urban retention pond next to my house dries up in the summer.
Anyhow, it’s nice looking and does the job great!

David: I read people complaining about it not being level. If your porch railing is not perfectly level the water level will be affected. It is not a defected product if your porch railing is not level.
If you leave it out in the winter and let ice develop in it...it will crack. The good news is Plastic will not rust.
Most installers of objects that need to things to be level use shims. It could be a thin piece of metal or pastic use to level the water. Just slip it in between the railing and the dish.
This is decent and you can make it work or you can return it or you can complain. The bottom line is you only have 20 dollars to lose.

Barbara E.: We live in an area of small songbirds and hummingbirds and this was the best answer for their drinking and bathing needs. We paired it with a small "rock" fountain that fit in the depression in the middle but still allowed 3-4" on the sides for the birds. We put the flow on its lowest setting. The faux rock provides a great settling spot for the birds to investigate as well as the rim. The birds have been checking it out (they are extremely cautious) and once warmer weather sets in, we know they'll be engaging in bathing as well as drinking. We provided a potted blueberry bush nearby for them to take shelter from predators also, a biggie for small birds seeking to evade hawks and other predators.

Mark Schofield: The bird bath is a good size, holds plenty of water for birds & the heating element works perfectly.
Water hasn’t frozen at all. As for assembly, it was easy to put together & mount. The only down side is the bracket that connects to the clamp for holding the bowel doesn’t stay level. Had to add very small piece of wood to keep bowl from tilting. Birds have been coming to the bath & very enjoyable seeing them drinking & “cleaning up”!

Amazon Customer: I am happy with the structure of this. It's built well, it hasn't moved since I installed it a few weeks ago and the birds are curious about it. However, the bottom of it is hollowed out like a soup plate so you'll have to buy a small pump for the fountain. Mine barely fits. No birds yet; I am wondering if maybe the edges are too big for little bird feet. Bigger birds, like Javan Mynas, seem to be ok to balance on it.

Cafe Chic: By seeg dddThis bird bath fit right onto my deck railing. It’s a little on the smaller size and the birds don’t seem to like it as much as an oversized clay pot saucer I had previously used. I think the depth & sloped sides are the reason. The issue I’ve had with the bracket is that it would not stay attached to the deck railing & fall to the ground. The metal vise like grip would not hold the weight of the water. I tried putting a plastic piece between the wood railing & metal bracket with no luck. I ended up drilling a small hole in the bracket & using a small wood screw to attach the bracket to the railing and it works perfect. Without the hole/screw I would have had to send this back. Manufacturers should add a hole to the bracket so that customers are able to add the screw as it will not work otherwise. You’ll need a drill bit made for drilling through metal, a regular drill bit will not work. Overall this is a ok birdbath, with a small modification needed to make it a great birdbath!
Updated 11/06/2020:
Birds seem to have adjusted to this birdbath. The depth & sloped sides causes the birds to be leery of falling into deeper water. They have...
