Kevin: Hands-down, this trail camera company has the Best customer service I've ever experienced. I can call them on the weekends from the middle of nowhere and they'll call back if our signal drops. They are friendly, and after I called a couple times they remembered Me and my situation, and they've sent questions over to their engineering department to figure out my tricky issue with lack of signal for the antennae due to some blocking mountains. If you have trouble getting signal at first, call them - they can update something about which towers the cameras try to reach, which is an easy fix.
The cameras themselves (we bought a few) are Very sturdily built. The instruction booklet is thorough and covers everything, and there's a one-page sheet in the box that condenses the info needed in the field while setting up the camera. The crocodile snap strap (my name for it) to attach the camera to a tree is EXCELLENT, extremely sturdy and strong, leaves me with no worries about the camera strap slipping and sliding down. I really like that I don't need to poke a hole in the tree.
The photos! I like the photo plus video setting, but only sending the photos back home for cost...

Brandon DeweyBrandon Dewey: Set up was dead simple. Camera feels like quality. Tons of camera settings. Also bought a cheap solar panel. I was able to get the camera to run just on the solar panel alone no AA. I don't plan on using just the solar panel but thought I would see if it works anyway. Instructions tell you to buy some really nice AA's or some rechargeable ones that can be recharged through a solar panel.
I plan on using this on our second mountain property in order to see what the weather conditions are like as well as the wildlife activity. I took a sample picture and it turned out fine, but I have not used it in the wild yet. I do know I have strong 4G on my property. Will update once it's installed up there.
Update: So far works flawlessly with energizer rechargeable batteries and the solar panel. Takes great pictures. Only complaint is that I set up the camera under some branches in order to conceal it. However the motion tracking goes off all the time due to the branches in the wind blowing and I get 5 to 10 pictures a day. Probably just my own problem, wish there was a way to do smart tracking like if it detects animals or people only, kind of like the ring camera has, but...

L. L.: Was looking for a game camera that had good photo quality and would work via cellular to transmit images in real time. I found it.
First day setting up the camera I did not realize the impact of selecting video. Batteries were dead in 48 hours. It takes playing around with both the camera and cellular settings to get everything functioning smoothly. I realized that video was not a benefit and that the camera quality and resolution was so much higher with still photos.
Also, the sensititivity of motion sensing also impacts battery life. At a high sensitivity, the camera would take a photo every time the wind blew. On first day, the motion detection resulted in 1,700 photos of ... nothing. It was just wind and leaves. I adjusted sensitivity to the medium setting. I also moved from high resolution to standard resolution to preserve battery life. Then I removed video and went with still phots. And finally, I adjust the rapid photos to 2 photos. The default is a rapid 4 pictures with every trigger.
Once the settings were adjusted to where they needed to be (i.e. no video just still shots, medium sensitivity and 2 photos per triggered event) the camera performed...

JD92118JD92118: I own a semi remote property and I had an issue with trespassers. I installed 2 cameras and advertised video surveillance with a couple of signs. The cameras work perfectly as advertised and so far have solved any security issues I had. I did have a transmission issue with one of the cameras and called customer service. The call was answered quickly. The staff person I talked to was knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. They are very proud of their product and made sure that my issue was solved including later follow up. In my case, the issue was simple operator error.
