GardePro E6 Trail Camera: 24MP 1296P WiFi-Enabled Game Camera for Wildlife Observation and Monitoring

Jan: Easy to use. App works very well. We used it for security surveliance of our yard. Love being able to review shots wirelessly from my phone without having to go outside to fiddle with the camera. Also like being able to view in real time through camera (safely from inside the house ) at night when we hear something outside that we need to check out. Takes very good day & night pics. Motion detection could be more consistent, but overall it's a good camera for the price.
Batteries don't last too long at all, and that was dissapointing. So if you are planning on long term use, buy a better power source for it.
Update: Microphone is not good...excessive wind noise crackling & it does not pick up sound well. Gives garbled feedback.

dissatisfied reader: It's an ok camera. The wifi does work if you have the app and it connects directly to your phone not your router.
I tested my camera on top of my outside light just over my back door and I can still connect about 20ft away inside my home, but everything is really slow to load and view and I haven't been successful with a connection any farther away from inside. I will be upgrading the antenna to see if it helps.
My other Bluetooth items, like my UEboom seem to connect from much farther away without issue.
You can view photos and videos only while in range of the extremely weak internal Bluetooth transmitter. It does help to run the camera with an a/c power adapter instead of batteries if possible. This seems to extend the range but only slightly, but it's a more solid and consistent connection for sure.
On battery power it seems to be pretty efficient as long as you're not connected via Bluetooth or taking video at night.
It eats batteries quickly if you're connected. Just connecting and viewing a few photos for approximately 1min my camera used 4% battery life from new alkaline Energizers in 87° weather during daylight hours. It also consumed a lot of power...

MoonTimberMoonTimber: We started having minor issues with trespassers this summer. When Black Friday 2021 rolled around I decided to buy a bunch of budget cameras to test them out and keep the best six. I compared:

(1) Usogood WIFI trail camera 4K (Gifted to me, currently lists for $113.99)
(1) my one year old Victure ($84.22)
(Black Friday 2021 Prices except for the Victure, which was Black Friday of 2020)

So my winners and keepers in order are

1) GardePro E6
2) Gardepro E8
3) Wosport G6oo.

Everything else (Except the Victure) got sent back. That about sums it up, but if you want the details and why I made those choices then read on.

I initially set up a test in the forest behind my house and put all the cameras side by side on a board about four feet off the ground. I set it up so that I could walk into view at a right angle 90 feet away from the cameras then walk directly in towards the lens. I let the cameras run for 24 hours and made several trips down to the board midday, evening and in pitch black...
