Mayank Kumar: This is super cheap and doing things perfectly. My laptop was old and it had a problem of disconnection of wifi. Now it is working like butter. Also speed is improved by 10x times.

After 2 months: This product stops working after 2 months of usage. This is not acceptable. Please don't buy it.

lateisha: I have a Hp pavilion g laptop. I'm using windows 7. Bought this little bitty thing because my laptops wifi went out on me a while ago and I'd been using another cheap little adapter since. Just the other day my toddler decided to yank on the thing and broke it. I wasss going to just buy the same one again. But then something made me just see what others were out here. I'm not sure what it means but I had a single and this said dual. It also had higher numbers than others in the search.
So for a couple dollars more I decided to go with this.
Mannnn I'm so thankful that I did. Speed is faster! The adapter immediately installed it's driver once I plugged it in, and I didn't have to do a thing else!

That's all awesome. But what blew my mind was the fact that as of right now, I don't have the adapter plugged in BUT I still have wifi some how!!!!!!
Some how that little adapter fixed my computers wifi, this adapter is on the shelf in the closet!
I only realized this because this adapter only fit in one usb spot on my laptop, but I'd also went and bought a bluetooth adapter for my new speakers and that bluetooth adapter also only fit in the same spot.

dps: So, this is a very good product, as its very high quality and has a decent range and a plethora of potential abilities. With that said, I had a HUGE amount of difficulty getting their installation scripts to work correctly under Ubuntu 19.04. It kept giving different errors, among them we're different authentication errors and a few issues with it not wanting to find certain things needed by the install.sh script. So, I did come up with a solution, and its WAYYYY easier than the manufacturer's "installation" guide:

Open up your terminal, and type these commands in one by one. If you don't have "git" installed, you'll need to by typing sudo apt install git. After that's done, proceed.

Step 1: Create a directory to build the driver in:

mkdir -p ~/build

Then change to that directory:
cd ~/build

Step 2: clone the driver data from the repository

ok here, you're going to have to clone into a git repository, and amazon denied my first review because it contained a URL for the repo, so if you just go up some and ask a question about the repo like "whats the repo?', I'll give it to you.

Step 3: Build and install

RedXepher82RedXepher82: I have been needing a wireless adapter for my desktop since I had to switch to wifi and this works great. It is compact and what I like about it is that it does not require a driver download. Windows will automatically install it and it will work right away. It annoys me that I have to say use another computer to search for driver and install before using the wifi. This one is pretty much plug and play. I think the best thing abut this product is it's size. Although it can get warm so be careful where you are plugging this and make sure there is plenty of airflow to ensure that the device does not fry as I have had that issue with a lot of small products. The speed vary based on internet speed you are paying for but I was able to get close to my full internet speed through about 3 walls. I would say this is nice to use only on say the same floor. If you go down stairs or upstairs you may lose signal. I definitely like this product and would recommend it as it is portable, easy to use, and very nice to have.
