Got it today ( 2.22.19 ) tested it out today as well. I had prime so came in one day, very fast shipping. I dont know why this has bad reviews... The pen works wonderfully. Did not burn my fingers. And I used it for about an hour no problems. I have not used any of the tips though, just the one it comes on the pen already. Thank you i am satisfied!!!

I needed this to make some wood-burned Christmas ornaments and it was perfect for the job. I started out with the skinniest tip and it bent/melted, but I changed the tip to the wedge-shaped one and it has been working fine. The tip comes loose so that's pretty annoying because I have to unplug the pen and wait for it to cool down in order to screw the tip in tighter. Overall, it's good for the price for a lighter project. I did not use any of the other tips for my project.

I bought this tool with a specific project in mind: making personalized Christmas ornaments. It gets very hot, but this tool (unlike some others) has a cushion grip that protects your hand. I used one of the fine tips for calligraphy, so it bend slightly upon repetitive use -- I wasn't surprised, as this wasn't the intended use for that tip. Overall, very pleased. I may even buy more tips for future projects.

The set i received is not the one i expected. The soldering iron (the main piece with wire and plug) doesn't have provision to attach the assorted tips to it. The unit is exactly same like the picture but no provision to use the different tips which has male and female threads with the main piece (the red and black soldering iron). Is anyone have a solution for it?

I realized this is a cheap product, but was surprised at how flimsy it was. The first use of all the tips resulted in each one warping. Still useable, but disappointing.
