Amazon Customer: I AM SO HAPPY WITH THESE!! I bought these as a last minute last resort solution to platform sneakers I bought. I didn’t want to throw away the shoes because they’re so cute but they made my feet hurt in this weird way. The shoes weren’t too small at all, in fact they were exactly the right size, but my toes pushed against the front in this odd way where it felt like maybe I needed a padded toe sock or something. I looked up toe pads and found these. I kind of doubted they would fix my problem, but just tried them and wore the pads over my socks and walked around with the shoes on, and my problem is completely solved! The shoes are now cute and comfortable. Honestly these pads are NOT padded at all, but they provide just enough extra comfort that if your shoes are just a TINY bit too big, or you could use just a wee bit of padding over ur socks, these get the job done flawlessly. Honestly could not be happier. I can wear the shoes all day now, as opposed to before where they would be painful within an hour. Super excited!

Sally Stone: I wrote to the manufacturer whose name is written on the box to complain that I found the foot pouches very thick and they dramaticllay altered the fit of the making the shoe much too small. The descripton suggests that they are almost like a 2nd skin which is certainly not the case. On the box you are encouraged to contact the supplier. I asked for advice on if perhaps I was just not wearing them correctly etc. etc. The supplier never contacted me back. Very disappointed. I have wasted my money.

B. Jenkins: The product works as described, but didn't perform as well for me. I have big and wide feet. I wanted something that would cushion the area where my flats tend to cut into my foot on the big toe side. These are narrow. They will stretch and open up, but when they do, they won't go as far back on the foot. I think they would be fantastic at cushioning the toes if that is your problem. They are very soft and didn't seem to move around in the shoe. Probably meant for a more narrow foot or to protect the toes when wearing heels.

Thomas Conway: i got these to use while gliding - if you know what that is, if you do it well, you spend some time on your toes while wearing sneakers... i got these to relieve some of the pressure on my toe tips - to put it bluntly, these suck. There is NO padding at all ... i can see that maybe LADIES would want to use these in shoes if they were wearing hoses, since hose don't have any support either - but with these on - its no more than what you would get by wearing socks.... THIN socks - so if you're looking at these to glide in - don't bother - i bought some Leos Soft Pointe Gel instead and those have much better padding, although they are thin in the width dimension - but they expand out with my toes (and they're pink which i didn't like either - but no one is going to see them while i'm wearing them) ;)

also, with the Leos, i wear them ON my feet and THEN put on a pair of socks to hold them on before i put on my sneaks - hope this helped if anyone is trying to glide with these

HWWoman: I purchased these at my local Rite-Aid for $8.99. They are a little cheaper on Amazon.com. In the package, there was a $1.00 off coupon, so I'll save if I buy them locally next time around. I also ordered these on Amazon.com for $8 as shown here. These are a great solution for those with foot problems including arthritic toes, bunions, hammer toes, etc. I have all three of these problems so I am really pleased that these are available. I tried them out with low heeled shoes and the only problem was that they did show somewhat. Supposedly you can trim them down, but I wouldn't want to cut off the finished edge. I wore them in a pair of Payless Comfort Plus clogs and they worked very well and they were not visible at all. The other advantage to these cushioning shoe pouches is that they allow you to wear shoes that otherwise would feel too tight in the toe area and would cause chafing otherwise. In addition, you can comfortably wear shoes without socks or hose.

One concern is that they do make your feet somewhat sweaty, so you may want to have an extra pair on hand at all times. If you want to freshen them up between washes, you can lightly spray them with rubbing alcohol....
