Lynn: My doctor recommended foot pads and I decided on this brand. These are comfortable in my shoes and hold up well. Strong adhesive. They are a little tricky to place exactly where needed but work well once I find just the right spot. I replace them every couple of months. I will be ordering more.

GizmoRN72: Saw Podiatrist recently for foot/toes discomfort. She placed a thin metatarsal pad inside shoe and had almost instant relief. She recommended I buy replacement on Amazon and make sure to buy the thin ones (1/8" thick). Placed these inside several shoes and haven't experienced anymore discomfort.

Perfect Storm: The pads look like the pictures. They are 1/4” thick. I’m not a glue expert but I “believe” there are better glues than this. It does not want to seperate from the paper the manufacturer uses. This glue is water soluble. It breaks down quickly in water and sweat. They pads are 1/4” thick. What density should they be?
I don’t know but they flattened out faster that the pads I got from the dr.
It’s really a shame that this type of information isn’t given.
The same manufacturer sells the style my dr gave me, but they were impossible to seperate from the paper and were a complete waste of money. Will they work in a pinch? Yes.

IAmNotTheDroid: This is a followup to my previous review, when I criticized the seller for changing the adhesive to a new type that was incredibly difficult to remove. The last two orders I placed had the original, much better adhesive. The pads stay on the foot, come off fairly readily, and don't leave a gunky residue behind. As long as they continue to use this adhesive, I can recommend them and will keep buying them.

When I first purchased these a year or so ago, the adhesive was just right - they stuck to my feet, but I could reuse them 5 or so times without problem. The pads do compress, approximately 40% over a couple of days, but still less than the foam ones. Then they changed the adhesive, and now they're _super_ sticky, and they leave sticky residue behind, which is a pain. If you don't rub it off before going to bed, you get lint/pet fur/dirt stuck to the adhesive, and have to get it off before it sticks to the pad the _following_ day. I wish they'd go back to a moderately sticky adhesive that doesn't leave residue.
