I have found it to work and filter the water amazingly well. I also have purchased 2 of the larger ones to handle our drinking water under the sink for the past 6 years. I've found it to be dependable to keep our water tasting crisp and clean. The water here, without this filter, is so salty we don't drink it.

Mark Shander: Used this to replace a two-filter product that had a charcoal filter as had been done before at an Enterprise company I worked at and it was a good solution. It installed quickly and easily without leaks and increased the water flow to twice what it had been with the previous solution. We are very happy with it. I am not sure how long it will last in our extremely hard water climate with chlorine and so many hard water impurities, but it certainly makes the water taste much, much better.

Amazon Customer: We bought this to replace our previous Woder 5K Gen3 that only lasted for 10 months before seeing deposits in the water and scaling after boiling. With only two people in our household, it'll be reasonable to consider our usage as average. So not sure how long this new one (Woder 4K Gen3) will last? I doubt it will last 3yr/4K as advertised but we'll have to see. It's a bit expensive considering if it'll only last for 1 year. But it's easy to install and the flow rate is good and should maintain well (based on our experience with the previous one). The JG-1/4 connectors is good for our set-up.

Erhan: I'm using this instead of using an infridge filter. I've not had luck with infridge filters. They pour the water out very slowly.I've tried so many of them, paid even $50 for an original samsung filter, no luck with getting a good stream of water out of the dispenser. As a last resort I bought one of these, removed my in fridge filter and installed this inline filter on the back of the fridge. Now it works great. And the good thing is this thing apparently lasts 3 years, which is 6 times longer than what the in fridge filters last. Water tastes great and flows great out of the dispenser. This is definitely a smarter way to filter your water in your fridge. It was extremely easy to install. Just cut your water line and insert it into the inlet and outlet of the filter. (Though you should follow the instructions properly, you need to run some water from the filter to a bucket before connecting the outgoing line.

Teacher006Teacher006: This is my 3rd or 4th Woder water filter. I've used them on 2 refrigerators. The first time I bought one because they take out contamination that other $20 filters leave in. I don't trust what our government allows to be in our water so I want something that removes as much as possible.
Another big plus is that even after 2 years the water still flowed at a good rate. The reason I changed filters now is because my water line, entering the filter, split a tiny hole in it and we had to pull my refrigerator out to cut off the part of the line with a hole in.
Well my refrigerator is a very heavy beast and it takes my son and I's every muscle to pull it out. Rather than pull it out twice I decided to change the filter now. The other one was still working though. See pictures of the old filter and how the new one is installed. I have 2 brackets because one came from the old filter.
These are so easy to install using 1/4 inch water line, just push the line in until you feel a small click, about 1/2 inch.
To remove the old one simply. Push in the blue insert in the filter with your thumb nail. You almost can't see it move and it releases the water line and it...
