Re-level plate! Confirm and adjust.

Proper adhesive! I use purple glue sticks and a small water spray bottle. ( heat plate 70* spray build plate with very light water, you can then see where there’s no glue) reapply missing places. Then print.

Not a bad glass plate pretty flat, it is indeed 300x300mm. BE MINDFUL just because you have a 300x300 “build size” don’t mean you need a 300x300 glass plate to cover your original build plate surface! I have a build size of 300x300x400 but in fact my original build plate is 310x310mm! So YES it’s not usually square and you NEED to use binder clips or something better to stop the glass from shifting.

Anders: I will start out by saying these build surfaces are amazing, adhesion is amazing (With a silicone thermal transfer pad under the glass), they are extremely level and clean off extremely easily with a paint scraper blade. The only issue I have come across is that both of the two I have ordered seem to have my Solutech PLA stick a little too well, I have used them for around a dozen prints each and now removing prints is pulling small chunks of glass out. I am sure that it is probably an issue of the heating and cooling of the glass, and the glass cooling off too quickly after prints leading to weaknesses, but otherwise they have been lovely build plates. I have ordered two more to replace the two chipped ones. I am sure this is probably user error and nothing to do with the glass itself.

Slvrbllt44: FLAT! Flat is where it's at when you talk about 3D printing. I own a Creality CR-10S and the glass that came with it was junk, I couldn't get a very good bed level on it at all. This glass was amazingly flat and worked perfectly (after I installed a sheet of PEI on it). Now my prints are coming out fantastic.

CR-10 & 10S owners take note; this piece of glass is not quite as big as your bed, it is about 1/4" short on all sides when centered on the bed. No big deal to me, I don't usually print on the fringe anyway.

My only gripe about this is the price, it's extremely expensive for what you get (less than a square foot).

For those of you using PEI with your glass and don't want to invest in another sheet of PEI, put the glass and PEI in a freezer for about an hour or until the glue is frozen between the PEI and glass. When you take it out of the freezer, immediately pull the PEI up away from the glass. The glass with still have 99% of the glue stuck to it, but the PEI will be ready to use again (after some minor clean up using Isopropyl Alcohol).
