swag: HONEST REVIEW:
ISSUE:
I got this for my ender 3 pro and slowly upgraded it all the way. I noticed that it was defective after upgrading a BL touch for complicated prints. Turns out that the glass bed is too far from the nozzle towards the center but it is perfect towards the corners. I then did more tests by adding extra probes for mesh bed leveling and it turns out that the bed is defective in a middle vertical and horizontal line; therefore, the bed is defective cross shaped where it is too far from the nozzle even if the corners are perfectly leveled. However, I might've just have gotten unlucky since a friend of mine has the same bed and he has it pretty decently flat compared to me, so there are bad batches. So beware! Take advantage of amazon returns! This would definitely be a 5 star product if defective products didn't exist!

PROS:
This is still a good product though since I got perfect prints off simple smaller prints that depend on being on the center. It has great adhesion, easy to remove since the prints practically fall off around 40-50 degrees without any effort, and its really easy to clean. I'm sure that I just got unlucky and got a bad batch, so I...

LeilaniLeilani: Adhesion is poor even after multiple cleanings, slowing initial layer, thickening initial layer, glue stick, warming bed up, turning off the fan on the first layer, etc. Just not sure about it.

First, thickness problems when leveling need to be addressed by removing small tab on z-stop and lowering the stop. Easy! So don't scratch your plate.

The Adhesion issue makes me wonder about these reviews. I have tried everything to print this part, 3 hours now. Glue improved the performance, but the piece still breaks loose. I printed this same piece with the original may with zero problems.

Clean with isopropyl, not acetone. Acetone left a light haze from probably eating up the microfiber rag. The isopropyl cleaned all of this off.

I would love if this worked, but so far probably a return.

Updated after exchange:
Wow! Took a little to get it dialed in, but now great. Had to up the bed temp to 70, but that's it. Great addition.

MPC: Definitely works well. I have this on another printer already and bought this again for a new one. The textured side gives excellent adhesion -- you no longer need glue sticks, hair spray, or anything else. Just keep it CLEAN, and CLEAN it before you use it the first time too. When you take off the plastic film, there will be a yellowish residue that needs to be completely removed. Use acetone and paper towels. The acetone will not damage the textured glass surface in any way at all, and doesn't affect the white Creality logos either. Keep cleaning until there is NO yellow residue coming off on the paper towel anymore.

During ongoing use, I wipe the bed off with alcohol every few prints. If there are any bits of PLA or other filament, then I'll go over it with Acetone or Goof-Off. When you 3D-print on the cleaned glass surface, you will have no problem getting the print off. No scraper necessary IF YOU LET THE BED FULLY COOL.

Brian W.Brian W.: If you're reading this because you bought this and prints wont stick, please try:
- leveling your bed
- cleaning your nozzle
- increasing your temperature(s)
- letting the glass cool down between prints
- adjusting your z-axis offset (or z-axis switch location)

3D printing is very Frankenstein-ean in nature, having one small mistake such as not re-leveling a print bed every so often (or whenever the printer is physically moved) is enough to make 100% of prints fail from the start. Try not to get disappointment when a new upgrade or someone else's print settings doesn't work for your printer, it might be the fault of something else entirely.

I liked the original magnetic build surface of my Ender 3 Pro but after spilling 99% acetone on it, I damaged it. I wanted something very durable like a sheet of glass but didn't want to apply a glue stick or painter's tape for every print so I opted for this. I mounted the build plate using cheap thermal paste: GD900, which can be found for $4 for 30grams. I only needed about 3g to install it. This glass bed has a smooth untreated side and a side with the special film/material that allows for prints to stick. I am...
