Marvin murakami: This is a well made radio especially for the price. I have another one that costs a few dollars less but voices sound tinny on that one. The voices sound much more natural on this one and can also play fairly loud.
On a full charge, I'd say it lasts about 25 to 30 hours at decent volume level. I use a 24 watt solar charger which changes this unit from dead to full in about 3 hours.
I like the led screen and the buttons are covered with silicone which helped this radio survive a light rain shower when I accidently left it outside.
The tuning works great. I highly recommend this radio.

Aaron: The only thing I don't like is the buttons in complete darkness need some nubs or something or even illumination.
Though the soft silicone buttons are nice compared to comparable radios.

MaryMargaretF: I've lived in tornado alley Oklahoma for years where we have siren systems and the whole state is wired for bad weather.
But now I'm moving back East. Prepping for emergencies for my cross-country drive, I bought this Windrogon Weather radio. It's sturdy, easy to use--with great instructions--and in addition to the weather band/alerts, it has AM/FM settings.
It also comes with a battery, but you can also solar-charge or hand-crank it if needed. The voice quality is excellent. The black and orange case makes for an easy find and the casing is incredibly sturdy.
I'm so glad I bought this because as the climate changes and disastrous weather worsens and can now strike anywhere, I'll be prepared if for some reason I'm forced off road. Also, in my new digs in Northern NJ, if the power goes off--as it did recently with Ida--I can pull out my radio and keep track of what's going on "out there"!
