GeneEM: Have used this vice a couple of times and it is really good quality. Put it on my work bench and am happy with it. Made for light use. Good for a home owner not for rough service.

J. Reed: It's a good, solid vise that should work fine in your home workshop. It certainly does what I need it to do. But BEWARE: Don't use the mask included in the manual to drill the mounting holes in your workbench -- they are not accurate. Just use the vise itself to figure out where to drill the holes. I'm glad I checked the mask against the vise before I started drilling holes . . .
