Werner 12.5' AC19-2 Extension Ladder Covers - Blue

Ingrid D.: I keep these in the shop and only take them out when needed. They slide on the tops of both my aluminum extension ladders easily although I think the foam hardening. They don't seem as soft and pliable as they once were, which is disappointing.

Pearson family in Newfoundland: We haven't yet started the siding stain job but we installed the ladder pads and they fit like a glove...better than OJ's glove! I bit more 'solid' than I had envisioned, but I think that will make them more durable while still being non-marring to the wall.

Mark: I love this product tried it out today and was able to use extension ladder on vinyl siding with both hands free to do my work.it relly does grab the vinyl siding and keep ladder in place not having to worry about ladder sliding sideways.so yes this product makes it alot safer to use a ladder against vinyl siding plus the ladder will not damage the siding.I would recomend this product.Thank you!

CARCALCARCAL: The media could not be loaded.  Tengo una escalera marca Werner de Multiposiciones (MT) y con el afán de trabajar de forma más profesional y segura, compré estas fundas para las patas junto con la fundas de la marca NO BULL y poder realizar una comparación entre ambas.

Primeramente, quiero mencionar que la fundas Werner están diseñadas para la patas de las escaleras de extensión y no de multiposiciones, la otra marca no lo especifica.

Las Werrner embonan muy bien en la patas delgadas de mi escalera, que son las que prácticamente no se usan; en las patas ensanchadas, que son las que mas se usan, cuesta un poco de trabajo meterlas, sugiero agua con jabón para que resbalen. Sin embargo, cumplen con su propósito.

Por otro lado, las NO BULL tienen un tamaño más grande y el plástico es más grueso y rígido. Caben mejor en las patas ensanchadas puesto que la cavidad es ligeramente más amplia y al momento de friccionarlas contra pared o metal generan más resistencia, por lo que las considero más seguras para evitar que la escalera, totalmente extendida, se mueva hacia los lados.

En esta ocasión me quedo con las NO BULL y regreso las...

William P.: On the plus side these definitely do what they are supposed to do; namely they provide additional protection from marring by the ladders end and they do provide some additional grip to keep the ladder steady. However, on my ladder (a Werner fiberglass 24') they required quite a bit of force to put on and the ladder is no longer able to fully collapse since these block the last few inches of the rails from contracting. I'd buy them again.

Bruin74: The ladder bumpers require a little help to install. I wet the inside of the bumpers and used a rubber mallet to pound them in place. No problem after that. The bumpers work great against the side of the house.

Rolidnot: These ladder covers work really well on all surfaces but are particularly helpful on vinyl siding softening the pressure of my aluminum and fiberglass ladders. They also greatly reduce slipping on vinyl which improves operator safety.

It took a dead blow mallet to install these covers which was good because while I lock my ladders with a chain and lock, I don't want anyone to be able to yank these covers off and walk away with them and that would be very difficult to do with these covers.

Bottom line is that my ladders are safer, inflict far less siding damage and will stay in place and I highly recommend them for any extension ladder

EchoKilo: The extension ladder covers are as advertised and were received quickly. I mounted them with a rubber mallet and they fit my Werner D1324-2 heavy duty 24' extension ladder. One issue occurred when I inadvertently fully collapsed the ladder and in that process, the non-extending part of the ladder pushed the covers off. This is a minor problem that can probably be remedied by drilling holes on the extension and putting bolts or other fixture to prevent the non-extending part from pushing the cover off. Obviously, the other solution is to not fully collapse the ladder. But these covers do add more friction between the ladder ends and my vinyl siding giving me more confidence that the ladder will not slide laterally when I am on it.
