Be advised that to collapse it, every step has to be individually pressed, but that's not a big deal for me as I use it only occasionally. There is also considerable flex while climbing, so one needs to be careful not to use it at too great an angle.

Nancy Allen: Out of the box this seems perfect for our camper. Very light and portable. Need to be careful with retracting as with anything that retracts so you don't get pinched. Haven't had to use it yet so we can't comment on how sturdy it is. But so far, it seems great! Better than lugging around a bulky ladder just in case we need to get on top of the camper.

Heather V.: Absolutely love this ladder! I have used it several times and it is quick to set up and take down. I have it for my RV and it fits perfectly in the crawl space.

paulellis84: I bought this for its compact size and maneuverability. I liked the idea of having a taller ladder that didn’t take up too much space
First time I used it was to clean the gutters. Worked okay but even on a flat surface it felt a little unsteady once I got past about roof level (12ft). I got the job done and had no issues
Second use was to trim some branches over the front of the house. The bottom of the ladder was flat on a concrete walkway, the upper half rested flat against the tree base. As I got to about the same point as last time, the ladder started to flex and twist out of place on the upper half. I had to brace myself on a branch and try to reposition the ladder from the tree. I quickly got down and put the ladder away. Won’t be using it again for anything beyond the gutters and I’ll be investing in a standard ladder for future projects

PjS: Original package came without the bottom crossbar and wheels. Contacted the company through Amazon and the missing parts shipped. No hassle.
The wheel assembly on the crossbar does allow you to pull or push the ladder. However you've got to pull at a very low angle to get it to roll correctly and allow the wheels to make contact with the ground. I've tried changing the wheels, thinking maybe I assembled it wrong, but it's still a bit awkward.
The ladder is sturdy to climb as long as you've got it positioned correctly and don't try to over extend.
As others have mentioned, the distance between the bottom rungs of the ladder are a bit further apart, so the last step down can be a little surprising.
The rungs are flat and wide making it easy to climb and descend.
Collapsing the ladder is also a shock the first few times. It closes very quickly and slams into place. Pay attention to keep your fingers from between the rungs, and only on the outside as directed.
Very pleased with this purchase.

S. Craig CaldwellS. Craig Caldwell: It certainly is a convenient design. Too bad it's poorly made and unsafe.
Mine arrived with the bottom crossbar (which you have to easily install yourself) having a pretty good dent in it. Still was able to install it, and is doing its job (dent is clearly a shipping issue, not the ladder’s fault).
The reason I’m returning it, though (aside from Amazon charging me regular price instead of the significantly cheaper Prime Day price when I ordered it) is that it bows/bends substantially when fully extended. It simply doesn't feel safe when the ladder gives way this much as you climb. Maybe it is, but I don't think so.
My first attempt at using it (and the whole reason I bought it) was to fix a ceiling fan. The ceiling where the fan is attached is at a 45-degree angle, so the ladder was resting against the ceiling.
It bowed so much as I climbed the ladder that the top end of it slid down about 6-8" from where it had started.
Then, as I climbed back down, it straightened back out and extended back to full length, but the ladder had enough friction against the ceiling that it went THROUGH my ceiling instead of simply sliding along the sheet rock as...
