4catts: You need to download the Wansview Cloud App to your phone to start the install process. The instructions are easy to follow and the camera initializes quickly with the App. The Camera's picture quality is excellent and the ability to rotate the direction of the camera picture makes it very useful. There are so many features associated with the camera but I primarily use the camera as a pet monitor when I am outside the house whether on vacation or just what to check in to see what the cats are doing. I like the idea that I can also view their water and food supply to give me additional assurance that they are ok. The peace of mind with this camera is well worth every cent that I paid for this camera!

fromjustusfromjustus: The media could not be loaded.  This is a small camera meant for indoor use only. It is not waterproof, nor was it meant to be. Its primary function is to monitor a baby in its room from a remote location within the house. It also can be used to keep an eye on pets that may be moving from one location or another within the home, or just for an indoor security camera positioned in a non obvious location . It’s powered by a small 12 volt power pack that plugs into a standard 120VAC outlet. It can stand on its own base or be mounted on a wall or even ceiling with the included mounting bracket.

This Q6 Baby camera measures about 3” in diameter, and about 4” high. The body of the camera is white plastic, which feels quite sturdy. The unique thing about this camera is that you, the owner can move the camera lens up, down, left and right remotely with an app from Wansview that can be downloaded for use with Apple or Android phones from their respective cell phone app providers.

TroyTroy: I really like the ability to move the camera in any direction. I monitor the inside of my house when I leave my dog alone. I can see what he is doing because I can move the focus very far left or right / up or down and zoom in as well. The fact that I can record to the memory card I purchased on amazon works very well as it adds the security aspect to the camera because it records. locally or cloud Checking in and talking / listening as well to my dog is great as he is comforted by my voice - unless I tell him off the couch. The night vision is very good , a bonus is alexa show works perfect with this camera as well as my other wansview cameras. My fire stick also will show the camera(s) all wansviews on my tv on the big screen. The camera can be mounted upside down or as seen in my picture so upside down is not a problem. The picture is very clear and the zoom in/out feature is very impressive. The only issue that I have ever had with setup is the barcode scan on the phone app does not work at least for me. It takes less than 5 minutes to setup IF you scan the QR on the camera using the AP setup method. I have setup multiple wansview cameras I do not even bother with the scan...
